Okay so my battle with this boss was INSANE! I had Jing Yuan, Quingue, Himeko, and of course, the main boi! The ults of all of them combined with this track was AMAZING! Highly rec it if you can!
I have now realized that this OST is centered around us more than it is around Cocolia herself, which is comoletely opposite of what most bosses in Honkai 3rd, Genshin and Star Rail bosses. They are mostly emphasizing the bosses power, and to show us the odd-defying power we had against them, a deer made from pure abundance power, a Lord Ravenger with both Destruction and abundance abilities, a senior staff with immaculate powers in a galaxy-faring company and the embodiment of death itself. Their OST are centered on them. Honkai situation is different, we aren't actually being represented there so it makes sense if the characters like Kiana or Mei gets full OSTs to center them. While Genshin's Dvalin, Childe, Scara-mech, the Shogun, and Narwhal's tracks are all on their power, that we defied all odds to win on a battle against them. Cool, but I've seen a lot. While Wildfire was more around ourself, it symbolise that we aren't defying any odds, we are making it happen. Luck? None. That's what makes it so good, we are actually fighting the Stellaron, and we ARE winning from the very start. It feels much better when you're pushing for the triumphant end with your own skills and power rather than luck and other's power. Dvalin was with venti's assistance while Childe is the only one we really fought ourselves. Shogun was fought with 100 visions and Yae's aid, Narwhal got blitzed by Skirk and Scara won against us plenty of time if not for the time-loop by Nahida. We went head to head against svarog with Seele's and Natasha's hands, against the dear with Welt, against the Lord Ravenger with the General himself, we almost lost against the Death if not for Black Swan, a Memokeeper and one of the Ten Stonehearts deflected black hole weapons and orbital lazers before getting one slashed by Acheron. But the Stellaron was different, we were alone. Ourselves and the Will of the Preservation. (these are all lorewise combat)

I'd widely accepted that gacha games were gonna always be cashgrab nonsense. I only picked this up because I'm currently nursing a back injury and can't move at all. But then they started hitting me with all the references to old films, other games, even culture and current events...I saw the cracks start to form when they slipped in a retelling of one of the most heartbreaking quests from Bloodborne. And so much of the game is just...telling you a story. I've read more in this GACHA MOBILE GAME than in the literal actual books I checked out from my local library recently. And then progressing the main story of Jarilo-VI you get hit with the corny plot of "oh no your past isn't real YOU'RE ADOPTED" and...the reactions are REAL. The voice work is...good. Great, even. My character is in the background actually reacting to things, not just standing there like a manikin. The subplot of a sister devoted to what's right, knowing she might have to kill her own brother to see it through. An entire civilization on the brink PURELY by the act of an actual GOD...and the madness of a woman who touched the unknowable chaos of an uncaring universe. They pulled an Advent Children with the sequence of launching the main character up to face the big bad...and we fail. In our arrogance, we literally DIE...and through that sacrifice, we are preserved. We STEAL COCOLIA'S FORSAKEN GOD. If she's so ready to cast away Preservation...then we'll just have to pick up the pieces and clean up her mess. The moment that hit me was when Cocolia truly lost it and used her ultimate for the first time: the sky cracks open, a jagged crystal of destruction brought down upon her foes, uncaring of who she kills or what she destroys...and Wildfire starts to play. I CRIED. This stupid frickin MOBILE GACHA GAME ABOUT COLLECTING ANIME TIDDY AND STUPID REFERENCES TO OTHER THINGS MADE ME CRY. I've only cried five other times in my life playing video games: - the ending of Golden Sun: The Lost Age - the ending of Kingdom Hearts 2 - the ending of Crisis Core - the finale of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn - like six separate times during Tears of the Kingdom but it STILL ONLY COUNTS AS ONE This awakening from Destruction to Preservation, from pain to protection, from fear to resolution...I can't believe I'm adding it to the list. Cheers, Hoyo. You frickin mad folks, you actually did it. You made me LOVE a mobile game. 🤍

I CRIED. This stupid frickin MOBILE GACHA GAME ABOUT COLLECTING ANIME TIDDY AND STUPID REFERENCES TO OTHER THINGS MADE ME CRY.
I've only cried five other times in my life playing video games:
- the ending of Golden Sun: The Lost Age
- the ending of Kingdom Hearts 2
- the ending of Crisis Core
- the finale of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
- like six separate times during Tears of the Kingdom but it STILL ONLY COUNTS AS ONE
This awakening from Destruction to Preservation, from pain to protection, from fear to resolution...I can't believe I'm adding it to the list.
Cheers, Hoyo. You frickin mad folks, you actually did it. You made me LOVE a mobile game. 🤍
2:53 WHERE IS THIS PART PLS GIVE IT TO ME
I WANT IT
Hope we get the same banger with penacony last boss
The immovable object VS the unstoppable force
The only thing this video is missing would be captions so you can know what he’s saying
Bro this boss fight was like better than genshin boss fights by 100%
This song alone made me to play HSR
The downside for me on this fight. It didnt last long since my pulls were insane that kill this boss, unsure it was nerf from release or the characters i had were OP for the fight
Now genshin needs something like this as well. It's a shame it's taken 3-4 whole chapters to get to it.
