Novesta is the easy choice here. They look amazing, are made in EU and are reasonably priced. The only downsides I can see is that they're not easily accessible and that the sizing is difficult to comprehend. Other than that, nothing seems to beat them. Let's hope that they don't get too hyped so that the prices rise and they move their production to Asia.

Hey people I have recently laid my hands on these beauties, Novesta Star Master of course. I was always wearing converse chuck Taylor lows and my size was, EU 42,5. They have become uncomfortable after a while. I purchased the same size from the Novesta, and they are amazingly comfortable, light, and last all day.
I got the white Novesta's a couple of days ago, and as someone who's into semi-minimalist streetwear fashion, it's a really good piece to have. Toebox reminds me of the 70's Dva Matchya shoes from the Soviet era, essentially Russian converse. They're very comfortable out of the box, and pretty airy on foot if you enjoy snug sizing. For reference, they felt basically the same as my 2 year old AF1's which have seen constant mileage almost every other day I've had them, and I regard those as very comfortable shoes. If you have slightly wide or normal 30cm feet, I actually recommend going down from a UK 12 to a UK 10 if you want a very snug fit. Go UK 11 if you want safety and a bit of roominess, but use thick socks if they feel a bit wider. Nonetheless, great pair.
As someone with a very narrow foot, this was some very helpful information. Nothing is worse with a pair of shoes than when your heal slides around and causes blisters
Just a little piece of advice for everyone who's interested in Novesta Star Master. I would go true to size. I have a pair in one size down and they're too small for me after a few hours of wearing them. I wear 45 in all shoes and chose 44 in Novesta and I'd go for 45 if I bought them again. Cool shoes nonetheless.
Or maybe go down only half a size. I tried them recently and the true-to-size ones felt uncomfortably big. Half size down was pretty good. But I guess it also depends on the shape of your feet.
Consider outlining your font or changing the color to make it more readable, the white text on white background makes it hard to read some words, great video other than that, keep it up!

I find the Muji plimsolls run at least one full US size large. Muji's published size equivalency chart is not remotely accurate. This, of course, is no reflection of the quality of the shoe itself.
i found a shoe that is similar to the muji price and its the uniqlo cotton canvas lace up sneaker. i would really love to see u compare both of them since ur video are well reviewed. and if u ever made a newer video of this, please include the stepneys worker club canvas/leather shoe. they look very promising considering their price.
I don't like the idea of white sneakers in canvas (too difficult to keep clean) but I think I'll be ordering a pair of the Spring Court G2 in black, as I highly value comfort in my shoes. Although, I do think the Novestas look absolutely killer. Is the difference in comfort really noticeable between these two pairs? By the way, if you ever do a review of leather sneakers, I'd be interested to hear what you think of the Clarks Un Costa Lace. I have a pair, and I adore them. Great job on the video, by the way.
Both the Novesta and Spring Court feel similar underfoot, but the upper of the Spring Court is noticeably softer than any other pair I tried. That means the Spring Courts feel more comfortable overall, especially on the top part of your foot. Having said all that, I think the difference in comfort is only something you'd notice when comparing them side by side as the Novestas are still very comfortable.

Good job. Only quibble is that 'sneaker X looks better when dirty than sneaker Y' is highly subjective and imho not a valid criteria.
I think it's vital. I prefer white canvas to white leather because nothing is worse than the dirty scratched plastic coating on cheap leather
