Litle info: Even though Ryan was defeated, the emblems given by Chandra are owned by the other players and will continue to do damage in their upkeep until said players lose and leave the game or the game is over. I am also too bored to do the math to determine if this changed anything.
The damage doubling enchantment also doesn't double the emblems' damage, since emblems have no color and thus are not red sources. They also are not sources the player controls anymore, so they would definitely not be doubled. Source: I have a mono red Chandra tribal commander deck that's one of my favorites to play.
@@jameji_phd The damage doubling enchantment was specifically doubling EVERY SOURCE, which would indeed double the Chandra Emblems. There are a number of other ones that do indeed specify something you control or a red source though, so easily understandable why you'd misinterpret it.
@Lvl99Ditto Depends on how you wanna do it, some people for instance prefer to use a site like printing proxies where you go to the site, go to the order now tab, and type out or paste your deck list and it'll bring up every card. @38:50 this floating mana dissipates between phases, unless stated by specific cards that say they dont empty from mana pools as phases and steps end. Mr. House is my favorite card for commander. He just embodies the gambling aspect and how i could just not have good luck or the rng god of the century.
I love that Chase plays Crucible of Worlds and then proceeds to get next to no value out of it lmao, so much so that he ends up screwing himself out of lands to use for retrace in his hand, such as right around the 45 minute mark. He was still playing really well, but if I understand correctly he would've been better off playing his lands for turn through the graveyard so each retrace gets double the value -- used to recast and then still played, as opposed to playing lands from his hands and then not having any to retrace with.
21:49 how did seven not have summoning sickness? they catch seven not being on the battlefield for retrace so they all know he just came out that turn? I love the content
Heads up, for the dice roll stuff, if you must "ignore one of the dice rolls" you treat it as if it hadnt been rolled, so it doesn't activate Mr House.
1:16 it does say you have to roll a "6-sided die" as part of the activated ability. You could only roll a D20 if another card in play says "roll a 20-sided die." In that case you'd choose/trigger that cards ability, then that D20s result would count for Mr. House.

I think Charlie was rolling spin downs and not d20s for ancient copper dragon. Which for the sake of rolling is fine but it’s not a fair die. On opposite faces of a fair die the sum is equal to number of faces plus 1. It doesn’t directly affect gameplay but mathematically it could.
Its considered owned by the players it was given too. So they do not go away. I never knew that until looking it up just now. Thats kind of cool and scary at the same time.

you can't carry mana over phases. When Ryan tapped for 8 mana to play his commander he kept one floating and used it in the battle phase to buff said commander. I thought he was supposed to be a judge?
No, he had an untapped mountain that genrated two mana and used one for the map, floating 1 mana, and used the remaining land he had to generate the second mana needed to crack the map.
Did Drew on 6:15 just tap an evolving wilds for mana? A tad bit greedy considering the land he will find from sacrificing it will come on tap and not provide the mana required to play the artifacts, correct?
Interesting idea. Given magic has normally long card names I wonder what kind of game you could play where the CMC of cards is dependant on the length of the name so for instance a card named "Rat" would have 3 CMC while Ulemog the destroyer would have a massive CMC of 18. I wonder how creative you could get with short named cards and work arounds with mama ramp and effects.
72 treasure tokens and 8 3/3 robots in 1 turn is why I love magic
And that's still tame for house. XD
Mr. House just rolling in robotic hoes & money.
