    Running in my break-in miles on my Halcyon Grey, what a super little bike I found! Thanks in part to your great content 🙂
    Keeping mine primarily stock, maybe a CAT delete and DNA air filter for a little more sound and breathing but absolutely no rush. Bar-ends and the Low Rider seat are a must, I think I'm going with black leather. I love tan, but black on this color just really makes everything pop. Will add a canvas bag and pannier on left side. Must transport coffee and camera gear 😎

    That country still looking nice and green but I don't fancy hitting a wombat tho Warro.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yeah its still green here alright. plenty of rain over winter and grass is green and tall. may not be too good in say 3 months time as it dies off and bushfire season approaches.
      those wombat certainly look solid. i'd say it would be like hitting a pig out west...solid whack...lol

      @ruahinesrider ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wombats are a stocky buggers wouldn't want to hit one.Saw them in the zoo when in Ausie & held a little one.

    Nice to see you riding the classic again. Went for a ride on my halcyon green 350 classic today. Warm sun, cold breeze. South West victoria. Puts a smile on my face every time and gets the compliments at the service station. My classic alway makes me happy.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks. it was actually pretty good to get out again and give it a run. too many bikes has its issues. so may not think so but i feel they are more of a burden.
      one good one beats many any day. the classic 350 reborn is indeed one good bike!

      yeah i could handle just owning that as my main ride. having numerous bikes just indicates you can buy and like wasting cash...lol
      either way if one is chasing just one bike the classic 350 reborn ticks all the boxes and for those who dont think so -maybe they should give up riding...lol and buy a scooter...lol vespa of coarse!

      well it was one month prior to getting on it so a very good test. unlike some if i got on a bike and thought it was overrated my next move is cash it...lol then buy again.
      this 350 came through with flying colours. great ride and a total bargain at $8000
      nice ride today

    G'day Warro, mate l would choose a motorbike over a scooter or adventure come trail bike every day, but that's me and it's the ride that counts, the weather is fantastic and it's the best time to go riding, I'm riding on a historical old bike run on Sunday and looking forward to seeing all those old motorcycles, cheers mate ride safe, Neil 🤠.

    The Reborn strikes me as the one RE riders have been waiting for. Any rider who appreciates the modern vintage bikes should look at and ride this one. I watched the mirrors, and the lack of vibration is impressive. When pulled over for a bit, it looked like the bike was actually posing for pictures. It's that beautiful. Would it be worth it to you to go up one tooth on the counter sprocket? That's the only mod on my TU250X--it makes it do highway speeds with less stress on the engine.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      overall i think its fine how it is. some might like to hurry them along a bit and they will run at 60 mph/100 kph and bar vibe is very low.
      i just have to be careful on that road as theres plenty of cover and plenty of road kill along the way too....lol
      they might not be dead roos on the road but i see plenty on the side of the road.
      on that trip alone 20 or 30 roo's and wallaby are dead or pulled off the road.
      those wallaby's are a pesky little critter. about a metre high and love the side scrub /bush
      although back near town i did see a huge roo dead on side of road. must have been over 6th tall. huge for a grey....
      apart from that bike is running great. as stated have not been on it a month and tied up with the suzuki sx250/xmax/hunter etc and then the vespa too
      so it was good to get out on the classic. great ride and a relaxed ride too
      all the best!

    • @ridewithwarro

      nothing on those till i test them more especially on the dirt. so $100 i paid which is really nothing to me but to some if i give the wrong report on a item ...they cry like babies and as if they spent $1000 and their world collapsed!

    Great vid and a lovely ride out. As a matter of interest, do the sheep get bitten by snakes often. ??

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      i think the livestock get bitten quite often plus the farmers dogs too. most likely to happen if they tread on one.
      cattle and horses too would be targets.
      ive actually trod on one myself and it feels friggin scary...lol plus had a couple of near miss jobs too.

    Did you rid the Hunter? Just thinking about the shocks you have put on , I think my Hunter needs rear shocks, the standard ones ain’t half hard.
    Your certainly spoilt with the quiet roads out there, we’re lucky to find roads like that in the U.K.
    we don’t see many motorcycles coming the other way on your videos don’t you have many motorcycles out in your area.
    What didn’t you like about the Hunter compared to the classic reborn? I had the classic 500 but swapped for a hunter which i really like.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      did a ride clip on it a couple of days ago. plan to put it up shortly and those rear shocks are really crap on that bike. these shocks were bought especially for the hunter but unfortunately they turned out a bit on the short side so couldnt fit them.
      so i did a salvage fit to the clasic 350

    Aussie male speak: "how's it goin' mate?" "yeah, not too shabby" - which actually means I'm good. We always like to down play how good things are, so that when they're not so good, it doesn't seem so bad. You say you shouldn't jump to the 500cc, but you don't mention why? I'm a bigger bloke and I think I would need the 500 to have enough grunt to get me up to speed in a reasonable distance /time. Any reason why someone shouldn't get the 500cc? I know they don't make them, but you had modded ones and said you shouldn't have modded them. I'm not interested in performance mods I had an R1 for several years and got my thrills there, getting older now and looking for a fun bike that doesn't have a ton of power and is small capacity. So why not the 500 Warro?

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      hard to answer that question but if you look in my history you'll see quite a few new 500's i actually had 15 of them brand new...not all at once...lol over 10 years.

  • @craigjohnson6597
    @craigjohnson6597 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would it be fair to say these bikes aren't meant for open roads. Looks dangerous to me given the lack of power. Impossible to overtake and having cars sitting on your bum ain't a nice feeling 👍🏼

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      well if one wanted some-thing a bit quicker an interceptor would be fine. it will do all you ask and do it pretty easy too. ive had 2 of those.
      the 500's are a bit quicker too. had 15 of those too...lol
      this is just a great ride running backroads and cruising along at 80 to 100 kph.
      i dont ride them hard as i figure whats the hurry. we are all running out of time...why push it...lol

    People that don't like scooters are those who have never travelled, are generally ignorant, have never ridden one, are not sure how to enjoy life, have no idea how to inform their own opinions, and should change their tiny wee views on life, get new friends, or just be quiet.
