it doesn't matter if you are midladder or not you have to hate the Firecrack, and have to keep it in mind in every deck you make or it's just an instant lost.
@@someonexdxd The normal firecracker takes 2 business days to reload, very easy to counter, and does little to no damage. I understand why some would hate the evolved version tho
My deck is mid ladder but I have reasoning behind each card. Mega knight to counter elite barbs, arrows because it counters minion horde (and used to counter guards as well), balloon because it's a huge threat and an aerial unit, gang to have some swarm, bandit to counter the princes (and sparky back in the day) in case they have a spell for the gang, ewiz for units that sprint and inferno/mighty miner, fireball because deals instant damage and knocks back troops
Not really because if someone used Skarmy to tank for something (good play VS Canoneer) then the overleveled Musketeer will give the same value as an underleveled one until the skeletons die then the extra damage from upgrades can apply on the giant Whereas the wizard will splash then all so the extra damage from upgrades apply on his shots more frequently
@@Abdod wouldn't an under leveled wizard kill just as many skeletons as an over leveled one Just to be clear: I get your point, but u used the example of a skarmy which would die no matter what level the mid ladder card is

Hey, Mid-ladder (Arena 12) player here, and this is my deck: Skeleton Dragons, Goblin Barrel, Mega Minion, Baby Dragon, Dark Prince, Princess, Musketeer, and Wizard. I primarily created this deck when I first started out because I hated Mega Knight and because it demolished other decks at my range (Even Log bait because I have no log). I have tried to change it, but none of the other variations work on defense like I hoped. I primarily use this deck on defense and just wanted to tell you that there are mid-ladder players who focus on defense. I may be rusty because I haven't played in... 2 years? I left way before evos.
I play megaknight at 8500 my deck is pretty weird tbh a mk,hog, log, bat, zap, bomber, goblin gang, firecrack I mostly defend while cycling my hog for damage and according to situations i use my mk offensively as well and get great value to be honest defending a mega knight is pretty easy if you're skilled enough..
Recruits is pretty good against most midladder cards, thats why evo recruits are my favorite card, they swap a lot of interactions that would usually be beneficial for the enemy, like using a spell, which activates the evo recruits ability.
A few weeks ago, at around 6500 trophies, I encountered a player with Balloon, Wizard, Skarmy, Freeze, Arrows, Mirror, Minion Horde and Mini-Pekka in his deck. No joke. 💀
When I was in mid ladder, I used 3 musketeers with ice golem, zap pekka and cycle cards. The idea was to create a 2 musketeer ice golem push in one lane and pekka 1 musketeer push on the other to overwhelm.
Mid ladder is the worst place for me because im better than mid ladder so normal trophy road is too easy but when i encounter high ladder players in events or tournaments i die miserably
you'd expect the upper half of the twins to break-away and fall off... rather than the whole building literally cascading and imploding on itself... folding... you attack a jenga tower in the middle, and the top bit falls off... the tower doesn't implode vertically... a bit like chopping a tree in the middle of the trunk... you'll still get a stump, even if you chop at the root of the stump...
I used to play this deck: ebarbs, wizard, ewiz, firespirits, zap, miner, goblingang, icegolem. I switched to playing splashyard 3 years ago, and now I have multiple top10k finishes, all because I dont play a midladder deck any more
With the Megaknight evolution coming out, maybe you can make a video on how to play Megaknight effectively? The one decision I always struggle with is when to play him in the back vs when to play him on top of other units and go for a counter push
Easiest question ever lol. The card has to be cheap, (Spirits, Skeletons, etc.) Requires prior knowledge about the game to use effectively, (Lavahound, Xbow, Royal Recruits, etc.) Or it requires major thought into placement. (Buildings, Ice Golem, Monk, etc.)
3:03 it might be because there is some skill based system in place but you only realy see that till like level 10 maybe level 11 everything after that is sweaty, the only ones who still are like that are the ones that are stupidly overleveled. You probably wont see someone with one or two levels below the average that wont try to play like his life depends on it
It's time to celebrate the most important thing that helped your channel reach 10k. The wonderful mini pekka. Make a video proving why it's the best card in existence 🙌
Most of my decks are build around cards I find cool or interesting, especially on mid ladder where it can really catch some players on the wrong foot. Goblin giant was for a long time my favorite card just because it was great at catching mid ladders of guard. It was never great but I didn’t care much. As long as I was able to have fun goofing around whit my off meta picks all would be fine
This games also won't let you try experiment with different cards because as a f2p is a chore to get one deck to lvl 14 (now 15 ;/) those players aren't even encouraged to change something because it's simple stupid to play under leveled cards
I just started playing this again and I'm dreading getting back into the midladder hell hole because I got so sick of mega knight last time. And I don't want to deal with cards that are massively over leveled every game (even though I already deal with that in the low arenas)
interestingly, cards arent bad because theyre midladder, its because overleveling favors generalists in a match, cards can only fill certain roles, and as a card gets better at one role, it gets worse at others inferno drag is crazy dps, until it hits a swarm musketeer does much less dps but can somewhat handle swarms cards like megaknight wizard exe etc are generalists. they can tank and do damage and kill swarms but because theyre good at so many things, they are usually only meh at all of them but when you overlevel a generalist, it stops being jack of all trades master of none, and becomes just a card that can solo anything i knew a person who hated playing at tourney standard bc he said 'it takes away your levels' he never considered that equal level was more fair, only that the wonky interactions that he was used to didnt work anymore this is also why its so hard for maxed midladder players to finally transition out of midladder and into competitive. theyre used to interactions that just shouldnt happen
Middladder be like: I AM THE BEST BECAUSE I PLAY 11.0 E BARBS MEGA KNIGHT E GIANT WIZARD LIGHTING ROCKET MIRROR THREE MUSKETERS Me: I play double barbs dark prince bomb tower cycle
I know bro, cannon carried me for 20% my wins, no one ever uses buildings so they don’t know how to counter, here’s some mid ladder combos, any swarm + any win condition, they only ever use inferno tower or tesla, so the combo completely walls anything they could muster, Win Con + Minitank, same idea as swarm and win con, but less inferno tower proof, barbarians, just barbarians, they counter literally every single mid ladder menace if used correctly + they will delete the hp of the crown towers if they connect to it, executioner, they will cut clean through any swarm and are one of the best cards on defense and as support for your win con, it also helped that I made my deck specifically to counter 2.6 hog since I could never beat it
This makes it really hard to play ladder with the deck i built in a way that it could be balanced and have the cards i like (like the game was supposed to be played) because i can't do much against a mega knight + wizard push 3 levels higher, even if on paper i have all the cards to deal with it just fine
Holy shit, that was literally me. I have since rehabilitated after my classmates got me back into Clash and told me that expensive cards suck, actually.
There is also an element of what counters the mid-ladder overlevels. I don’t play anymore, and I don’t plan to, but when I was in mid-ladder I used giant skeleton, sparky, hunter, anything that does enough damage to actually matter. All three of those can chunk away large amounts of hitpoints, including from multiple targets, which is very nice when they use elixir golem and battle healer to throw a million hp push onto the bridge, alongside rushing cards of their choice.
This game is still great no matter what any cry babies say tbh. I get mad as fuck some times and deleted it more than any other game but at the end of the day it's still a well made deck. For me it's gotten alot better now that I've reached that point where all my cards are level 14 or higher
What makes the card midladder is the ability for a braindead newborn which had his hands amputated and was blinded by a rogue eagle. is able to play it
Midladders also dont know balance changes and exist and throws an arrows and zap at my firecracker. Not to mention, they think they can do trickshots with zap
Make a video about how evolutions may have been vitally necessary for the game’s longevity because players have become too good at defense, causing much more tie breakers with players using decks like miner poison and win con+ cycle. Many people forget that even though evolutions suck, their blatant overpowered nature could be very intentional, and not for the reasons we think.
We want some in depth explanation about buildings, how to place them right Also tips like counter goblin barrel with fire spirit+any card in right place would be nice to see from you, like video about place troops from tower or from side been nice

When you realized you've been a mid ladder before and still has those skills of the mid ladder after reinstalling it after 3 years of not playing the game
They are so disconnected from the rest of the game. And their hate for firecracker is crazy. I tell them that arrows are used in like 80 of the top 200 decks and they are like "yeah to cointer firecracker". Then i point out, that fitecracker has like 10 people using her in the top 200 and they dont know what to say.
Beginning of the season sucks because you have to see the most ridiculous decks while climbing challenger 1 - masters 3 and then even in champions you still get a few.
my mid-ladder deck was Pekka, mega knight, e-barbs, witch, wizard, royal ghost (idk why), log, and tornado. tornado being used for killing a skeleton army when I bridge spammed my Pekka.

i play a mortar cycle deck
i want to mention how it is COMICALLY easy to predict with 95% accuracy that if you see a dagger duchess, or if you see at least 2 midladder cards played, that the second you play your mortar they will immediately play mega knight the bridge right in front of the mortar
it doesn't matter if you are midladder or not you have to hate the Firecrack, and have to keep it in mind in every deck you make or it's just an instant lost.
Ok but even as a firecracker and arrows user I srsly don’t understand why ppl hate her
@@amanthjeobbyist free 1000 damage on tower if they place anything to defend your push absolutely no skill involved

@@amanthjeobbyist Mobile jtoh is crazy
@@someonexdxd LOL YOU KNOW I PLAY JTOH?!?!
1:22 not sure if this is the best example cuz u can say the same thing for wizard and other mid ladder cards
Not really because if someone used Skarmy to tank for something (good play VS Canoneer) then the overleveled Musketeer will give the same value as an underleveled one until the skeletons die then the extra damage from upgrades can apply on the giant
Whereas the wizard will splash then all so the extra damage from upgrades apply on his shots more frequently
@@Abdod wouldn't an under leveled wizard kill just as many skeletons as an over leveled one
Just to be clear: I get your point, but u used the example of a skarmy which would die no matter what level the mid ladder card is
@@adean5707 yes but he wouldnt get stuck too long on the weak cards so there will be less damage overspill
@@Abdod that makes sense, I'm just saying skarmy was a bad example

Bro there is new things they wicth is realy annoying
1-when they lose / misplace anything laugh lile crazy
2-they always trash talk or SOMTHING like that lol
3- they are proud of being like this bruh
Good video 🎉
Why is this so well done, a lot of very good points I haven't heard other people talk about
Speaking from experience, there are 2 ways to play mid-ladder:
1. Mega Knight
2. Beg
Midladder is a mindset. Not a trophy range.
The problem with the specific firecracker interaction is she is always level 14 or fifteen and a level fourteen firecracker survives a level 13 arrows, spells are normally leveled up last so most of the time she survives them anyways and you will have to follow up with a second one thus wasting elixir
I feel like we need more videos like this in the CR community. Super insightful and adds to the conversation. Less drama and news stuff.
When I was at the mid-ladder , I didn't watch TH-cam videos about Clash Royale.
Very interesting video indeed!
In a few words midladder players don't care about synergy in their decks, it's all about spam all on the bridge
I play megaknight at 8500 my deck is pretty weird tbh a mk,hog, log, bat, zap, bomber, goblin gang, firecrack
I mostly defend while cycling my hog for damage and according to situations i use my mk offensively as well and get great value to be honest defending a mega knight is pretty easy if you're skilled enough..
This is seriously some of the coolest shit.
It's so terrifying. What makes it all the more unsettling is it's characters you know too.
Disregard everything else, write me a poem about jenga
you'd expect the upper half of the twins
to break-away and fall off...
rather than the whole building literally
cascading and imploding on itself...
folding...
you attack a jenga tower
in the middle, and the top bit falls off...
the tower doesn't implode vertically...
a bit like chopping a tree in the middle
of the trunk... you'll still get a stump,
even if you chop at the root of the stump...
@@elis7081 and how much wood could a wood chuck chuck, if we were playing jenga

4:35 The major exception here being the x-bow. 2.9 is really common on midladder.
4:20 as a RG user at 7700, I'd like to apologize for my brothers. It's the sole win condition I run, with I drag and Hunter for megaknights
This video hit me so hard, I’m stuck at 7K trophies and League 6-7 so I run into so many mid-ladder decks and fail to deal with them properly
I used to play this deck: ebarbs, wizard, ewiz, firespirits, zap, miner, goblingang, icegolem. I switched to playing splashyard 3 years ago, and now I have multiple top10k finishes, all because I dont play a midladder deck any more
“Yo this push will destroy my opponent’s tower!”
My knight watching a lvl 15 Megaknight’s fat ass falling from the sky: 🥲
With the Megaknight evolution coming out, maybe you can make a video on how to play Megaknight effectively?
The one decision I always struggle with is when to play him in the back vs when to play him on top of other units and go for a counter push
I was a maxed ebarb rage menace in midladder. Sometimes enemies just give up once whatever they put down instantly dies.
Explaining midladder ❌
Absolutely roasting midladder✅
ok but what DOESNT make a card midladder
@@Acid_ic994 this is such a "None of the Above" answer
6:59 anything but theese
Easiest question ever lol. The card has to be cheap, (Spirits, Skeletons, etc.) Requires prior knowledge about the game to use effectively, (Lavahound, Xbow, Royal Recruits, etc.) Or it requires major thought into placement. (Buildings, Ice Golem, Monk, etc.)
@NanoNano-tk7ev "Knowledge" as in being extremely hard to use if you don't study most interactions or play it consistently
@@ElixirUs69Valkyrie is imp
3:03 it might be because there is some skill based system in place but you only realy see that till like level 10 maybe level 11 everything after that is sweaty, the only ones who still are like that are the ones that are stupidly overleveled. You probably wont see someone with one or two levels below the average that wont try to play like his life depends on it
someone who is under leveled will obviously play better, cause they got there with worse levels.
they also use fireball. Its so funny using wallbreakers on bridge, and THEY DEFEND WITH FIREBALL AND MISS. Two games in a row, i love mid ladder
It's time to celebrate the most important thing that helped your channel reach 10k.
The wonderful mini pekka.
Make a video proving why it's the best card in existence 🙌
Also mid ladder players love to spam emotes the entire game. Which emote do you hate the most? For me it’s the laughing electro wizard emote.
I hate yhe crying baby king from squad busters
Most of my decks are build around cards I find cool or interesting, especially on mid ladder where it can really catch some players on the wrong foot.
Goblin giant was for a long time my favorite card just because it was great at catching mid ladders of guard.
It was never great but I didn’t care much. As long as I was able to have fun goofing around whit my off meta picks all would be fine
This games also won't let you try experiment with different cards because as a f2p is a chore to get one deck to lvl 14 (now 15 ;/) those players aren't even encouraged to change something because it's simple stupid to play under leveled cards
This video taught me more on how to play clash royale than about midladder cards
5:45 “Especially when you can just-“
“HUUUUUUUUUUUUUU”
What mid ladder range nowadays? cause I’m around 7700 and champion league and I thought I was mid ladder but nobody is this bad around there
I just started playing this again and I'm dreading getting back into the midladder hell hole because I got so sick of mega knight last time. And I don't want to deal with cards that are massively over leveled every game (even though I already deal with that in the low arenas)
interestingly, cards arent bad because theyre midladder,
its because overleveling favors generalists
in a match, cards can only fill certain roles, and as a card gets better at one role, it gets worse at others
inferno drag is crazy dps, until it hits a swarm
musketeer does much less dps but can somewhat handle swarms
cards like megaknight wizard exe etc are generalists. they can tank and do damage and kill swarms
but because theyre good at so many things, they are usually only meh at all of them
but when you overlevel a generalist, it stops being jack of all trades master of none, and becomes just a card that can solo anything
i knew a person who hated playing at tourney standard bc he said 'it takes away your levels' he never considered that equal level was more fair, only that the wonky interactions that he was used to didnt work anymore
this is also why its so hard for maxed midladder players to finally transition out of midladder and into competitive.
theyre used to interactions that just shouldnt happen
Middladder be like: I AM THE BEST BECAUSE I PLAY 11.0 E BARBS MEGA KNIGHT E GIANT WIZARD LIGHTING ROCKET MIRROR THREE MUSKETERS
Me: I play double barbs dark prince bomb tower cycle
i didnt think its possible but you actually managed to explain midladder in 8 minutes
What makes the card midladder is the ability for a braindead newborn which had his hands amputated and was blinded by a rogue eagle. is able to play it
Best midladder play I’ve seen was dropping a MK when there was 1 skele from a skarmy left on tower
Dang, I’m a 9k trophy player who runs lumberloon with valk, executioner, inferno dragon, skarmy, and arrows… I didn’t expect to feel so called out
thats why entire cards ballance must be rewatched - cheap cards always were too op and broken compare to expensive onces
We want some in depth explanation about buildings, how to place them right
Also tips like counter goblin barrel with fire spirit+any card in right place would be nice to see from you, like video about place troops from tower or from side been nice

Midladder player here. Yes, MegaKnight is one of my most played cards and alike, overall I can agree with this video (except the building part, I've got 2 in my deck :skull:)

Beginning of the season sucks because you have to see the most ridiculous decks while climbing challenger 1 - masters 3 and then even in champions you still get a few.
my mid-ladder deck was Pekka, mega knight, e-barbs, witch, wizard, royal ghost (idk why), log, and tornado. tornado being used for killing a skeleton army when I bridge spammed my Pekka.
gotta love the 4.8 Pekka mega knight barbs cycle
I play a midladder deck, but I was forced to master hog 2.6 before doing so, therefore I'm using skill with a no-skill deck, which makes me very dangerous XD
