I bought a 1977 Yukon Delta 31' houseboat for $1000! Join me in the adventure of fixing it up and hopefully spending weekends at the springs on it one of these days! #recommended
I used to sail a little 14 foot sailboat I kept at a dock at my apartment. Nearly every other boat had an inboard with a volvo outdrive and they were ALWAYS broken down. I would swap out the inboard and add a Yamaha outboard. You have a big project but that is a great price and so long as you have a place to keep her in the yard you can have a ton of fun with very little cost once you get her back in shape. Thumbs up.

Total remodel inside and out and the haters that are hating will be awestruck when they see the finished luxury boat. I am working on a toon I purchased from my brother in law its 35' long gonna knock it down to a 20 or 25 footer. Wife wants me to sell it but I don't see that happening anytime soon. When I get her running I may consider it.lol I am gonna be following you on this rebuild so keep us posted.
Hey I really appreciate it! Yeah Ive always wanted one of those big pontoons like you have. Like the big Bass Party Hut ot something it is called. Like 32' long or so. They have the little lite weight cabin in the back and you can get on the roof and it has a water slide coming off the roof. They are hard to find down here. I wish you luck in your build! Yea mine has the water slide on the front. We have been down it several times. Just wanna get it knocked down a foot or two. It lile having a school bus in my mother in laws yard. I tried to sell it 2 years ago until I decided to remodel it and upgrade it. Everyone wanted it for virtually nothing but the outboard 35 Johnson on it is worth $3200. I really enjoy your videos and can't wait to see it when you put it on the water.

I had a Youkon Delta like that, what a blast we had with it. Change axles, use mobile home axles and you will be ok. House boats are great for protected waters but I wanted to cruise the Great Lakes so I went to a sail boat. Ended up trading it for a sail boat trailer.

Alfred I’ve had many boats this is true. But when I had to sell my CDory I cried watching it drive away. Been all over California and the Baja with it. It was worse than watching my gf of seven years move out.
I'm in Michigan and have a run about with that same Volvo Penta engine and out drive. It's free to you if you want it. I used some parts on the house boat I told you about.
Wow thats very kind of you to offer that. Im blown away. I am going to have to pass though. Michigan is a bit far from Florida for a drive or for freight charges. My plan is to run this engine as long as it runs good. If it ever gives up the ghost or if I find a crazy good deal on a nice outboard, I will change it out. Although changing to an outboard entails major transom work, different throttle and shift cables, wiring, etc...I will cross that bridge if it ever gets here. Yes I mentioned in one of my first vids about this houseboat that Im going to trade out the hubs so I can have brakes on the trailer axles. It will eventually have new wheels, tires, hubs with trailer brakes, guide on poles, new lights on the trailer, paint job, etc...Since Ive did the roof over deck it is water proof in the cabin. There is still a few minor leaks on the front deck in front of the windshield. No biggie though, when it rains in there it collects under the bow and evaporates. I will patch those few holes up when Im done with the roof. Thank you for watching. Hopefully in the next few weekends I can get back out there and work on it some more. Im married to a woman that has to go, go, go, go, all the damn time. Lol

I lost my gf over my boat. I was restoring a boat and finally it was ready and I wanted to go fish in the salmon opener. It was Easter Sunday and I was dying to fish. I caught a 25# salmon and was home by noon. She moved out the next day.

I did show the inside in one of the early vids. Hell a lot of the vids actually. The plumbing and electrical vids show me walking back and forth on the inside and you can see everything. Ive got all the cushions taken out and the curtains taken out for now though. In the next couple of weekends I will be getting back out there and continuing on the roof. Gutting out some rot and finishing Kitchen area with stainless steel hardest part from mostly scrapping . i have a music studio You tube station also , and not much done with it past 2 years , for repair and replacements . I also have not notice any videos on you tube rebuilding house boats and like your You tube Rebuilding House Boat Show Should Sky Rocket, just thinking , God speed willing.

The guy actually wanted $1500 for it, but as I was walking around it checking it out, I guess I was taking too long to make up my mind and he said, " I'll tell you what, I want it off my property so bad, if you give me $1,000 for it, its all yours..." Before I could even say anything my wife said, "Sold!" Lol I brought him the money the next day after work and picked it up that Friday when I was off work.
