@@redeye8075 probably similar to how Minecraft servers send you to lobbies to play games. Which in this case the trigger is going into the circle on JP server or touching water in the well on EN server. But don’t take my word on it as I did zero research and what I said is pure speculation.

For people who still hasn't understood why Ame built the entrance to JP into a well...
It's a reference to one of her and Ina's favorite anime - "Inuyasha".
In Inuyasha, the protagonist - a girl named Kagome tripped into a really old well, the "Bone Eater's Well", and got sent into ancient feudal Japan when Yokais were prevalently found. She teams up with the half-wolfling Inuyasha to keep evil at bay.
Kagome can go back and forth between the eras via jumping into the well.
And of course... This well being part of Ina's idea too, so it is naturally also a pun for the word "farewell".

The plot you mentioned there was basically whenever the protagonist had to go home in Inuyasha.
And interestingly, the way for her to traverse between time and space to meet Inuyasha was by jumping into a really old well

@@TheKenchanx I've always thought the Stargate should have been the portal between EN and ID server because Moona can probably build a rotate-to-open mechanism for the Stargate.
But it's still cool nonetheless for it to be the portal between JP and EN cuz we get to see them hopping through Stargate as early as 2021.

Both ina and ame. Ame made it for the reference, and ina helped for the pun "FareWELL"
Ame was also responsible for the arrival zone to be the tunnel from Spirited Away. She did a really good job with the tree placement around the landing zone creating a natural barrier by which to "force" new arrivals through the iconic tunnel. 10/10 level design.
The Trap Master herself has make sure she doesn't fall into a trap so she uses the Duck as bait.

The only problem with the well is that it's hidden, unless the chat or their EN guide tells them. Needs some signs and a path to help them I think.
There is almost always someone online to guide them, or they can ask chat of they're streaming. It works out just fine and facilitates contact, which is great
There is a literal path, it's just that no one seems to ever suspect or look at it somehow xD
Some signs would be good, but getting lost in the JP server is way worse than getting lost in EN
It feels a little bit magical with how it's hidden away.
They could renovate the whole area to make it a lot easier to navigate.
