Yesterwynde - starting with the shots of the old film projector - is the passionate intro to this album.
Yesterwynde is like an old concept album by Pink Floyd, you might take the time to listen to it from the first song all thru to the last one.
After about 50 times now it grew on me up to the 5 best albums I own - and I am 64 now and have about 8000 records.
The last song -Lanternlight- is my personal song of the year 2024 by far. It is very, VERY different but exactly that is the reason - and it ends again with the projector.
For me Nightwish has evolved to one of those rare bands, that create art without any consideration to what anybody expected or to say it the short way: Nightwish does Nightwish things. And I predict this record will be recognized in decades, just like Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the moon. Some records last forever. Greetings from Germany
