Almost, on his Zildjian sound legacy it says he's using a 19" A Custom Medium Crash and a 22" Prototype Ride. Unless of course he's changed his setup since they made that video.
Jack Alexander yeah, that was his older setup in the beginning of the Tour. During the last half of the Tour, he switched to a Projection Crash, and some 22" K Ride i still dont know it looks like a K Heavy Ride to me.
CR7TheGunner The Snare is an Emp X every show, dont know about the Studio. In the Past, Cool used a Powerstroke III on his Snare...the last time was on the AI Tour 04-05. From 2016- Mid 2017 he used a 22" K Constantinople Medium Ride (Main Ride) then for the last hundred shows or so he switched it to a 22" K Heavy Ride (Possibly an old one from the 90's) due to its old style logos for the "Heavy Ride"
Tré owes me a hi-hat stand. He stripped mine in 92 when my band, Mrs. Svenson, opened for them at the University of Regina. What would the interest be on something like that, 25 years later?
Tré didnt start using Double Floor Toms and a Single Rack Tom until 2004-present. From 1992-1994 he used a standerd Dw Two Rack and One Floor Tom Kit. Then 1995-2001 he used one Rack Tom and One Floor Tom. Tré doesnt know his own history but hes one hell of a Drummer and i still Love him and his work.
I owe Tré upwards of 85% of my drum technique. He discovered a certain kind of punk drumming that I think is the absolute funnest way to play, and I don’t think I’ll ever rip off any other drummer more than him.
I love both of these guys! The Genesis re-wired album Nick D'Virgilio made was awesome! And I'm a lifelong Green Day fan!! So cool to see these two guys together!! :)
Shhh, give in to the drumming, listen to them rambling about the configuration and cymbals. Become one with us, become a drummer while also being a guitarist
Two Drum worlds collide in this interview (punk v/s Prog rock)! Never imagine that Nick will interview Tre Cool.....Fan of both drummers, with his owns styles!
Many don’t like he said u can’t circle and dream. Bless you don’t even realize half of these companies are still around a few months ago I just learned Lillian Vernon is still around
I think tre is losing his memory, every interview he says that he started using 2 floor toms and one tom in 95, but in 95 he had a 4 piece kit, he only started using 2 floor toms 10 years later
this is perhaps the most "normal" I've ever seen Tre. he's actually answering the questions and seems happy to be here. wow.
Andrew Ruel most of the time he’s happy to be here but he just acts like a weirdo on the interviews
Andrew Ruel no drugs lol
That is quite rare.
Nice to see that despite getting older and making good money, Tré is not letting things change him and still dresses like an eight year old boy.
It always sounds like Tre is trying to tell a joke when he talks

The snare batter is an Emperor X (usually) and the ride is a 22" Prototype Ride (that might've changed already though...)

Dab King94 what's his cowbell and the bell?
I can't look at Tre without smiling
Same for me! He has a goofy personality and that's what I love about him because he's just himself
Tré owes me a hi-hat stand. He stripped mine in 92 when my band, Mrs. Svenson, opened for them at the University of Regina. What would the interest be on something like that, 25 years later?
Terrible Crayon the interest? Ludwig Orange seethru John Bonham kit and the Pictures Of Lily Keith Moon double bass kit...and $7,500.
Half a high hat?
😂😂😂

after a few thousand shows, 30 years and all the weed & alcohol I'm glad he knows his own name.
@@RockBassTv Does he though? Tre Cool is not his real name. :D
@@RockBassTv don't forget the liters of acid consumed in pre-dookie days, know he has talked about that a lot
I owe Tré upwards of 85% of my drum technique. He discovered a certain kind of punk drumming that I think is the absolute funnest way to play, and I don’t think I’ll ever rip off any other drummer more than him.
Aww he seems so nervous without Billie or Mike with him
Such a cool guy his style of drumming is my favorite. That’s why i look up to him
tre is such a beast
Great interview you got the real tre cool 😎.
I ❤ him and his different hair style!! I love his personality. I ❤ his smile
Tre Cool he is my favourite drummer
I love both of these guys! The Genesis re-wired album Nick D'Virgilio made was awesome! And I'm a lifelong Green Day fan!! So cool to see these two guys together!! :)
why am I here I play guitar
Shhh, give in to the drumming, listen to them rambling about the configuration and cymbals. Become one with us, become a drummer while also being a guitarist
You are secretly a drummer in your dreams.
My drums are made from 100% pure DOOKIE.
love this guy, so funny and a gun drummer!
jason freeze is spot on about sweetwaters customer service, its amazing
Am. A. Fan. Of. Tre.

Thank you.
Two Drum worlds collide in this interview (punk v/s Prog rock)! Never imagine that Nick will interview Tre Cool.....Fan of both drummers, with his owns styles!
Got to see these guys at the Rose Bowl on the 16th! Amazing! You rock Tre!
I was alone... I was all by myself...
no one das lookiiiiiiinnn... I was thinking of you
Oh yeah did I mention....
Tre cools sounds is very noticeable and influential with those fast punk grooves and fills. And they have great songs.
Love that camera popping in and out of frame
yes, welcome to my stage
ps tre was at guitar centre not long ago
Tre’s outfit just screams Tre Cool and I love it so much
Why is no-one talking about Tre's Mohawk?!?!?!?! You can't ignore it forever!
I forgot I did this comment
There's a guy named Tre Cool in Green Day? I had no idea.
Dan S. It's not his real name
He’s pretty COOL.
I don’t think tre likes the website as much as the catalogue
Many don’t like he said u can’t circle and dream. Bless you don’t even realize half of these companies are still around a few months ago I just learned Lillian Vernon is still around
Trey you are the man
he didn't start using 2 floor toms until American Idiot 2004
th-cam.com/video/KSlYKuvn19s/w-d-xo.html
Why would he lie?
i still don't see 2 floor toms
TREEEEE
Ha ha. I don't think Nick is used to talking to drummers this weird and immature XD
or as stoned xD
seanzie I think Tre just has weed in his DNA now XD
lol his bloodstream has slowly turned into THC syrup
Yup, the guy's a nut. Saw him in Auckland in May and he killed it!
He is mature....
WILLITS!!!!!! Playing there Friday night actually
Tre has to be the coolest drummer and uncle ever lmao
9:46 he uses it on wake me up when September ends maybe
The best!!
Tre cool iz cool ❤😂
Lol that awkward handshake at 0:13
I like how there was just no way we can give trey his own mic. Stage full of audio techs no extra mic. Lol
Tré cute
What mic was used in the Kick drum? It wasn't addressed in the video
He sounds like Jason Nash😂
Tre is so funny
never a big fan, but this was a great "rollicking" interview
Wow tre is not chaotic for once still adorable tho💙✨️
does anyone know these mic setups for the whole drum kit on tré's?
Man 90s kids really missed out. He even liked the Sears catalogs
In the thumbnail he looks just like Travis from Taxi Driver
classic tre cool lol
Trust Tre to run off with the mic at the end 🤣
what mics does he use for the cymbals
Tre should uses DW drums again
I thought he would ran away at all interview.
Wait six new songs?
I think tre is losing his memory, every interview he says that he started using 2 floor toms and one tom in 95, but in 95 he had a 4 piece kit, he only started using 2 floor toms 10 years later
Jason Freese sounds just like his brother Josh.
I want to be blue punk today... thank you
had dw and i switched
Anyone have any idea what snare stand he uses?
DW of some kind.
@@felixjones9198 I found it in the end - it was a custom made 14 x 6.5 aluminium snare by SJC. Thanks though.
@@jack.alexander99 I thought you were asking about the stand! Asking about the snare itself would make more sense tho.
@@felixjones9198 Ignore my comment, I misread my own one! - You're right he does use a DW stand.
I keep waiting in Tre to misbehave he's crazy.
it’s sooo awkward seeing tre serious
Lov da hairrr
it is something similar to Abe Cunningham from Deftones
little elf man
i honestly dont care what he plays i wouldnt care if it was rockwood its still tre
Tre Cool can cure Dysentery......if he doesn't cause it first.....lol!
Nick looks like he tripping out on tre cool...lol
i guess he got stoned, that´s why he´s talking that way xdx
Didn't know Ted Cruz play drums
ummm, cymbals?
Absolutely effin clueless.
I dont like SJC sound, its not fit to punk rock
Hmmm.. awkward
His body is shaped weird hahaha he's a cool fella though!
