The older commentator has called so many balls wrong that he should learn rather than guess and act like he knows when he doesn't. At least they tried to do well unlike some commentators who talk about everything but the game at hand. Great run!

Bill Spicer , that older commentator happens to be David “Blackjack” Sapolis... the same guy who’s TH-cam page you are on.... AND this happened 11 years ago. Regardless, I am happy that 14.1 Continuous is exposed moreso than the simple 8- and 9-ball that occurs too much. In hindsight, thank you, Blackjack, for your knowledge.

Sapolis - I have watched at least a dozen straight pool matches where you were doing your analyses - you are wrong at least 80% of the time about which "next ball" or what pattern any given player is going to take. I keep thinking you'll give up trying to predict the players pattern but you are unfazed and apparently have no capacity for humility and you just keep on blabbering along ...wrong...wrong...wrong again...You have a very pleasant speaking voice - your speaking style is better than most. That notwithstanding your incorrect predictions are a great distraction to the viewer and the viewer would be just as well off or even better off to simply mute the audio portion of the video. For the sake of comparison men like Danny Diliberto, Pat Flemming, and a few others have a style that does not cause distraction but in reality make the viewing experience quite enjoyable. I think the primary difference between those guys and yourself is that they make no attempt to predict the next shot or pattern - or at least they rarely do so. They simply go with the flow of the game and offer clues or ideas as to what he did and why he did it that way. You and the viewers would benefit greatly if you would cease and desist "predicting" and simply try to keep up with the flow as the game unfolds.
