This run in competition will stand for a very long time. Crane's 150 and out in the finals has stood since 1966. 200 and out in competition will stand the test of time as a sports record. Instead of 76 thousand views this should have 76 million views.
crissixstrings WE WILL SOON FIND. OUT. I'VE BEEN PRACTICING ON 4.25 IN POCKETS, 9 FOOT ORIGINAL BRUNSWICK IN TACOMA, BUT I'M ON MY WAY TO THE TH-cam SPOT LIGHT , HIGHLIGHTS AS I ENTER THE COMPETITION'S
this year... i forget what month, but i read it in billiards digest a few weeks ago... i havnt watched the whole vid yet, but appleton transitioned to straight pool with amazing pro status...
what the hell bustamente was thinking on that hero shot. even i saw the safety shot. u never try that kind of shot against one the greatest player of all time. i guess he learned that the hard way.
Bustamante didn't smack the balls at 199, he did it after 200 and when Darren was just swinging away at the balls at the end. Personally, I thought it was hilarious, hahaha...
Bustamante should of not conceded at 199 and instead let Darren have the satisfaction of pocketing the last ball. He earned that right. Just because he decided to play some weird hero shot from the Hustler and failed miserably, doesn't mean he can spoil a beautiful display of straight pool by acting like a 12 year old.

Great game Darren, played impeccable!
Nice to see a world record:)
What a great run!!! Really enjoyed watching this video!!! Shows how beautifull the game of pool is :)
Great match and it is awesome to watch pool played this perfectly!!!!
Good commentary.
I've run 82 balls several years ago. 366 feels outta this world, DEEP respect for these awesome players.
good post, good comment, and an amazing performance.
AMAZING!! O_O
Bustamante - "Maybe a safety in the 2nd inning would have been better"
Bustamente's move at 1:44:40 is AMAZING! ;) The rest of the game is a treasure to learn straight ball! :)
Great to see Darren reckon his patterns. Don't think he has a straight pool background, but his patterns are perfect. Wow, what a player.
Closest thing to snookers a 9' will ever get
Damn what a nice run, total control!
Commentator sounds a lot like Scoot McNairy, specially in Killing Them Softly movie.
wow... Nice!
Funny how people cry about "big" pockets. I wonder what their high runs are on tables with 5" or even 5.25" pockets.

That's how you run 200 and out...😳🔥🔥
Great shooting, Too much talking
What a shame Mosconi's 526 ball run was an exhibition on a 4'x8' table.
Honestly forgot Bustamante was even there until he splashed the balls.
1:44:44 LOL
That's pool
What year is this?

Olhausen, ugh!
Spoiler alert - last difficult shot is at 13:05 lol
Bustie got whupped. Darren ran 200 easy breezy.
Very poor form from Bustamante to concede at 199 and then to splash the balls preventing a higher run
not really, darren gave up, he was just hitting balls at the end.
Darren didn't want to continue because the same day he had the final with Thorsten Hohmann, who finally won the title.

Appleton was clearly not interested, he just wanted to win.
how many balls he make?
Stop calling it a stack. None of the balls are "stacked" on top of each other. Lol
BIG 5 inch pockets.. A great run nonetheless.
g##''!$!!!'@'-
u probably cant even run 100 balls on 6 inches pockets.. stop criticizing! show some respect
+Jean Desir Play for $1000??!!
Mosconi ran 526 on big 5 inch pockets...
