If I had another set up I would put it in there . I'm thinking of setting something up. I've dosed pond with acriflavin so hopefully stop any infection spreading. My sanke/showa and hi utsuri both have it too
Thank you for the great content! I’ve been having the same issues (I’m in the states). I just can’t seem to get it sorted out. Just pulled my ghost koi out yesterday to find mouth rot and my sanke I found fin rot. Nothing on the scrapes. Ive already lost 11 koi this season from similar problems. Ive tried so many different treatments and even tried “Wipe Out” to knock back bad bacteria but still having problems. It’s gut wrenching. Can’t really enjoy my koi because I’m too busy looking for illnesses. So stressful!!! I really hope you get your pond sorted out. And please keep us updated. Thanks
Thankyou so much. Its stressing me out too. I've got another two fish with it now . Please read some of the comments from other hobbyists as they've given some great advice with what products to try. Hopefully we both and the others with issues can overcome this .
Awww man sorry to hear this bud if you can i would separate them get a temporary vat cos if it is bacterial once it starts you cant stop it, been there 😕
Hi sarpey, Sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with your fish mate I have been watching your channel for quite a while now mate and I like the content that you put out mate. I was just wondering if you have a spare mug that I could have as I am disabled now and I can't do a lot round my pond so I have started to collect from some of the channels that I watch all the time mate so I would appreciate if you could let me have one of your mugs mate. Many thanks Steve
@Sharpeyskoi Hi mate, Sorry I don't have a Facebook account I can only email so if you can please send me your email address mate I will appreciate it mate. Steve
i had fin rot and mouth rot also, tried everything, the thing that cured it for me was regular chloramine T to the pond, no issues since, but did lose a few trying other products, i wish you luck buddy
Colombo cytofex is a good antibacterial treatment the trouble with ponds with liners you can get a build-up of bacteria of decaying food in the folds hope you get it sorted buddy
Just remember with chloro T your filter bacteria will be fooked mate, So be a little weary and check for spikes esp Ammonia or Nitrite..Might pay you not to feed to avoid the spikes...That Virkon stuff was brilliant for me mate and stops certain bacteria's from pretty much eating your fish...Good luck anyways which way you choose to go buddy..
Nightmare man I feel your pain . 2 have died on me this year from there alcers they started getting late last season and not being able to treat them over the winter . This is the worst start to a season for me . With treating the pond alot this year I'm ATM trying to get rid of my algae. And I've one with fin rot and mouth rot too . Your not alone mate I'm running out of ideas lol mad game this
Ah mate feel your pain too. Its doing my head in. I'm testing water weekly at min amd everything spot on. I cant put my finger on what it is. Two other fish have and thinking of buying a 450 gallon fiberglass pond to hold them in.

Hi Sharpey, if you pond was over crowded your filters wouldnt cope then you have bad water parameters so cant be that,
Yes I know its defo not that. I just hate not knowing what it is.
@@Sharpeyskoithat’s the problem isn’t it?
Could be a few different things
@@stevealexander6928 I'm thinking of setting up another pond after all this now. I feel I need to remove these fish
@@Sharpeyskoi I would say that’s a good idea, just incase of either a quarantine or a grow on, in both cases fish can be monitored better I reckon
