Overall lots of good changes. For the keybind issue, I think they need to look into merging Marrowrend and Death's Caress. Main purpose of Death's Caress is really avoiding Bone Shield dropping, or generating a charge before coming into melee range. With the changes to Death Grip and Abom. Limb it has even less uses, so maybe it would be better to simply have Death's Caress become a passive ability to modify Marrowrend to do shadow damage and maybe have some range.
Maybe lower cost of marrowrend down to 1 rune cause or at last option of 1 rune or extra range and or damage as a talent option ( other not chosen baked into passive) that go 1 rune marrowrend
Caress is mainly about giving a higher ceiling since you can just spend a single rune to maintain bone shields which allows you to maintain higher damage with heart strikes.

They are also implementing damage buffs to Marrowrend, so you get 15% more to your next hit for each bone shield stack lost, up to 75%. With all of these changes I don't really see much use for Death's Caress outside of a ranged refresh of bone shield, if you for some reason can't grip the target. And the range could be implemented as a passive talent to modify Marrowrend.

The only thing I am sad about here is the fact that you don't get Purg for free anymore. Maybe you can swap out Umbilicus for it? But going through the Heart strike node above it (which I don't even remember the name of) feels pretty fkin bad. Purgatory made my whole Dragonflight journey on BDK so much nicer, saved so many wipes on bosses and in big M+ pulls... I would hate to give it up.

I love this spec design! i missed playing blood dk since legion when i mained it! but i still think the bonestorm animation is extremely underwhelming. I am slightly color blind and since its mostly red i dont even see the animation unless im looking really hard. When i think of bonestorm im thinking of actual bones flying around the character like a tornado just crushing anything around the character.
Just remove "Raze" and make "Maul" work in AoE. So combine Raze into Maul. It should deal more dmg if only one target is hit, but it will also deal AoE dmg. Consequently, less button bloat. Or an easy solution: Ravage should replace both Maul and Raze
I have to disagree. New BDK tree is just slightly better then old one. Purgatory,iron heart is must have in M+. Blood tap is useless talent specialy with san layin hero spec. To take rapid decomposition you still need take two uselles talents (Ossified vitriol is so shit talent, nobody cares about marrowind's damage). Gorefiend's grasp is still has to long cd to spent talent points on it (doesnt matter 1 or 2 talents it still to long). Bonestorm doesnt reduces DRW cd is it intended i dont know i hope its bug. Leeching strikes, Blood feast should be removed totally from game. I hope they change a lot of blood tree. Class tree i like it you can take all utility and still have talents left.

Purgatory (cheat death dont need add anything i think) Iron heart (blood shield is one of our main mitigation). Played UH dk in DF alot want to try BDK in TWW im excited. A friend is about to play druid tank with the elune build its a fucking laser bear spaming moonfire all over the place xD
22 buttons is nothing compared to other specs and classes. I get that BDK is low barrier to entry and supposed to be the straight forward ez tank. But button explosion? C'mon
The human change is absolutely horrendous. I won’t deny the strength of diplomacy needing to change but 2 charges on hearthstone?? Incredibly and utterly useless considering we already have 3 different hearthstone variants. Blizzard being tone deaf with racials as per usual. I’d almost rather them remove all racials then give out ones like this
Dude I respect you a lot. But this stand that Diplomacy is overpowered is ridiculous. WoW players in general seem to have some really strange ideas of what overpowered means. Reputation for yourself has no impact on other players whatsoever. Literally everybody can play a human. With account wide reputation it's only a buff to you if you don't like to play human cause you can farm rep on it and have it on your main character too. No matter how you slice it, it's a NERF to everyone. Most races have something strong the others don't have and it should be that way. It's flavor. It's what makes the game an RPG. Treating the game as yet another games as a service -bot where meta is everything and so there's no room for actual gameplay elements is a huge detriment to longevity. Being adamant about being a horde or alliance player is an outdated concept. Make a human to grind rep and leave it be. This new ability is absolutely useless, especially if you're not Draenei. Which ofc humans aren't. Joining even the smallest guild instakills this racial. Since it's themed around a hearthstone wouldn't it also be more of a Dwarfs area? This change is garbage and there is no defending it.
There has been a lot power behind rep over the years. What are you even talking about... it makes it so all players are on the same playing field when it comes to rep grinds.

Yes, that would be a good fix. Death's Caress has largely outlived its usefulness as a unique keybind.
