Victorian High Country on Dirt Bikes

Come along for the ride with a couple of mates to the Victorian High Country. We ride the epic Billy Goat Bluff and Blue Rag Range Tracks. Our base for this trip is the Dargo River Inn.

Having ridden these areas for 30+ years, the bike set up is the difference between clearing (or not) these hills.
Gearing is super important. As an example, we run 13/51 on our 500 EXC's. This allows us to use 2nd gear on the hill climbs with the right speed, don't need gearing for 100 km'h as you'll never do that in the bush. Good tyres and the right pressure. The old Starcoss 5 was the choice of many at 10-PSI

Yes have to agree. My first time doing this type of hill climbing. Found it fun and super difficult at times. The body was a little worse for wear.👌
