Every year we descend on the River Bend Caravan Park, near Renmark in South Australia for a weeklong holiday with family and friends. Once we had setup our caravan it was time to relax and enjoy the time skiing, drinking, eating and competing in the annual beer pong championship. Sit back and enjoy the video.

@@TallyHoTech yes I still ride. Is there an anniversary coming up? We only just done it this year
Having ridden these areas for 30+ years, the bike set up is the difference between clearing (or not) these hills. Gearing is super important. As an example, we run 13/51 on our 500 EXC's. This allows us to use 2nd gear on the hill climbs with the right speed, don't need gearing for 100 km'h as you'll never do that in the bush. Good tyres and the right pressure. The old Starcoss 5 was the choice of many at 10-PSI
Yes have to agree. My first time doing this type of hill climbing. Found it fun and super difficult at times. The body was a little worse for wear.👌

Great to hear visìtors impressions. We came across for a Sunday drive 40 years ago. Stenhouse bay was used to ship out gypsum to Adelaide until the roads were good enough for trucks to befaster & cheaper. Pt Parham is at the end of a military firing range. Very noisyacross at Ardrossan last week as they fired shells toward Parham. The flat trajectery allows them to be recovered from those mud flats to ensure they did not self destruct in the barrel!
We totally enjoyed our visit. Fantastic area. I have been driving passed the Port Wakefield/Parham area for years and was aware of the firing range but had never explored the area around it. Yes, it would noisy when they are testing. I spent some time living in Roxby Downs and we could feel the blasts when they were testing at Woomera. Thank you for watching, hopefully you tune in for more of our adventures!
