one of my favourite boots that i own is a cd copy of the first voivod demo, its a live recording of their very first show, limited to 99 copies and the only others available is a boot tape limited to the same amount and the original tape
I’ve never really been a fan of live albums but I do like a few. Kiss and AC/DC are definitely 2 with Metallica thrown in the mix. John Fogerty Premonition Live is a great one also.
If you're into extreme metal like me then Hell's Headbangers is the best place online to get high quality bootlegs. Especially the Reek of Death Records ones as those are always excellent sounding bootlegs. I have a huge collection from that label as well as many others including all four colors of the Possessed bootleg Matt shows here.
Great video Matt! I was a huge bootleg collector back in the day and I still have some in my collection. Just two minor mistakes I noticed. Adrian came back at the same time as Bruce did, so he´s definetely on this recording. Maybe they just "forgot" his name on the cover. Slayer´s 1991 European tour happened after "Decade of Aggression" came out. I´ve seen them a couple of days before said Paris show happened. Greetings from Germoney!!!
Yeah, Adrian’s name wasn’t on the back and I do know he backed out of some dates because his dad died, but I was fuzzy of his return in the overall timeline too. Thanks for both corrections. Helps me out.
Yes it is the demo w/ Tom G on it. Finally got around to listening to it. The packaging is pretty bare bones & leaves a little to be desired, however I found the sound to be pretty great & above demo quality. If you haven't heard the material, it could've been an unreleased 'Frost album from the late '80's & kinda serves as a "What if" scenario if 'Frost took this direction instead of what they ended up doing. I recently purchased Deicide "Serpents of the light "bootleg by Reek of death records and it sounds amazing specially for a pic disc,as mentioned in a comment hellsheadbangers they have some cool extreme metal bootlegs.

That AC/DC boot might be something I need to get. Like a good many others, I prefer the Scott era of the band.

I grabbed some nice bootlegs from Hells also.. Mercyful Fate, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, among others.

How do you sell a bootleg? Or are you stuck with it forever?
Always get my bootlegs from sites like dime, traders den, and guitars 101 in lossless and burn 'em to CDR. Then it's from fans to fans.
Other than collectability there's virtually no reason to buy these horrible recordings 😅
