God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all the same. AT the same time God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all different. "Nobody knows the day or hour Jesus will return, except my Father" Jesus was saying my omniscience or mind, DOES NOT have that revealed. At the same time, "He who has seen me has seen the Father". "This is my Son of whom with I am well pleased" (Jesus doesnt talk about himself in the second or third person like me myself and Irene)
And I could go on and on.This argument is a matter of perception, not right or wrong, and if you disagree with that then its also an argument about hardheadedness of heart. And thank you pastor, I learned a lot from this sermon.
These scriptures are clear.... The Father and Son are ONE in Spirit and One Body....UNIDIED AS ONE... NO TRINITY...But YES 2 in ONE SPIRIT.... And this is why so many are confused... Including in leadership positions..
1 Corinthians 15:

the first mistake as a minister/child of GOD, he went on his OWN! NO MATTER THE SITUATION, LET THE LORD LEAD YOU, HE WILL GIVE YOU WHAT TO SAY! Operating in the flesh will always mess you up.

Ecclesiastes 4:8 has nothing to do with this discussion. It's speaking of vanity. Gino blatantly taking that scripture out of context is an indictment against him. That's why we all should study for ourselves so we can RIGHTLY divide the Word of truth.

@@gloriousjohnson1807 If you know the subject of the debate (God being one, not three) AND you read Ecclesiastes Chapter 4, you'd see nothing in that particular chapter speaks of God being one. It speaks of vanity. That's the "one" and "alone" that chapter is talking about. I'm on the side of Gino in this debate. However, that particular scripture doesn't fit. If you read it before you commented, you wouldn't have had to ask me anything.

That's where they can't prove Gino Jennings wrong because the scriptures even though it mentions God, word and Holy Spirit but has never dared to seperate it or giving it names like personality, trinity union or whatever.. What pastor Jennings is trying to do is that he wants us to call God, word(jesus), spirit of God where the scriptures give these names without any additional materials and additional names.. This quarrel only started when men started looking for names and it division even though the scriptures doesn't do that..
Because pastor Gino Jennings also believe to in God the Father, son and Holy Spirit but his point is that no human name or conclusion should be given to it

This is what separates God's people more than anything. Instead of just loving each other and loving God we have to debate things and lean on our own understanding which we should not do and it causes strife and division...Satan has infiltrated the lukewarm churches also... This shows how God had a right hand person to assist with His works.....a right hand person that Isaiah53:1 stated to be revealed as in "Arm of the Lord" revealed. You see, when you're a Host you are a leader. But when it said "Host(s)", this means 1+ leaders reigning under the same substance of authority. So that angel of God was Jesus pre-existed as God's representative and messenger (Malachi3:1) before He was sent by God to be on earth. Didn't 1Corinthians11:3 say God is the head of Christ jesus?? Again, the trinity shown.

I don't think you all have heard someone who really understands the trinity. the trinity isn't one God with three personalities. its one God in three persons sharing the same deity if they had different deities it would be 3Gods for example Eve came out of adam right so she share his deity even though they are 2 separate people then in Genesis 5:1,2 God gave them one name and it was adam which means mankind the man name the women eve. so you had 2 people of the same deity with one name when I say deity I mean mankind. God is not a singular person its a unit or family consisting 3 persons of the same deity. just like mankind is not a person. so when you read the bible and it say God said you would have to look at the context to see who is speaking. if adam and eve was standing in front of you and you said Adam they both would turn around because God gave both one name so you would have to be specific. another example if you had a bottle of water and you poured it into a coke bottle and a sprite bottle. you have 3 distinct bottles but they share the same source water. but of course you would say that's three bottles were not counting the bottles were counting the source the one source is water. so you have one water in three distinct bottles.there is the father jesus is the word of God and there is the spirit 3 distinct person sharing the same deity making it one God . but what the heck you probably think I'm crazy here is the scriptures. ima post them in another comment

Mr Smith represented himself very well. His mistake was not having a neutral venue but he was certainly more sound in scripture. You cannot ignore the Hebrew which is the language of origin in favor of english which many times lacks the true essence of what was said.

There are 3 divine persons in the Godhead. Elohim is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Moses said, " In the beginning the Gods-[ Elohim] created the heaven and the Earth (Genesis 1:1). God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is His mystery. It is not to be argued. That's what divides the oneness pentecostals from the trinitarians.
D D That’s not sound doctrine. Just by you saying “The Gods” you’ve already entered into polytheism. That’s no mystery at all but philosophy of phylo of Alexandria. The scriptures say “great is the mystery of godliness” NOT “great is the mystery of the godhead”. Major difference. God is one and Jesus is God and the Son of God. Jesus Is God and the lamb. Jesus is God and the tabernacle of God. This is the mystery. God in Christ Jesus reconciling the world unto himself. Paul and the other apostles were not confused of who God is.
Explain the Holy Spirit.
God is one. He is the Great I am.. God came to Earth as man and then He sent His Spirit to guide us. The Great I am is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All of these mysteries will not be revealed until we meet Him. Man's mind is too finite to fully understand all of God's mysteries. Man's doctrines will not save sinners. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
D D you’re adding to God’s word. There is no such thing as “God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is God the Father who is the Holy Spirit, and Is Jesus. That’s what the word of God reveals. You’re creating An image of God after your own imagination mingled with man made philosophy.
You’re right mans doctrine cannot save you. You must enter into a covenant with Jesus His way only. If you try to enter any other way you will perish. The first sermon preached about Jesus death, burial, resurrection, and ascension was on Acts 2. There is only one gospel. Any other gospel is accursed. Whoever receives any other gospel than that faith that was delivered to the saints is accursed. The same gospel Peter preached is the same gospel Paul preached, and the other apostles. Acts 2:38 is the only way to enter into a covenant with God. There is one thing many trinitarians fail to understand. The very fact that all the letters after the book of Acts were written to churches that had already received the gospel, and were saved. The apostles never intended to save people through their letters to make known To them for the first time Jesus Christ. The apostles were just helping the saints grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and teaching how one should live as a already born again Christian. The letters were written to saved people on how to behave in the church and out in the world. Also they had prophesy of what was to come and what was to be expected for those that had trusted in Jesus Christ and obeyed His gospel. True Faith is when Jesus says something and you believe it. If you believe it you’ll do it. Its really that simple. Its theologians that want to complicate everything taking bits, and pieces from letters to create their own way if salvation.

The prophet was speaking to Judah to comfort them and encouraging the tribe of Judah that the same God of Abraham was the Lord not any false God of the Assyrian or Babylonian army is the true God, this wasn't explained properly in historic sequence of why the God gave this Revelation to the prophet to Judah!!!
Luke 3:21-22
“One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.””
So was God talking to Himself? Was Jesus praying to Himself? The Holy Spirit descended like a dove. We see all 3 present at the same time.
I’m the garden of gethsemane, was Jesus praying to Himself? Father! Not my will, but Your will be done.
Jesus after being baptized. Was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then He was led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil. Then He came out in the power of the Holy Spirit, Did Jesus cease to be ?

because I am a minister. I actually operate under the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit that validates the word the Holy Spirit generates through my vessel.
I have been in true ministry, preaching, casting out devils, healing, working in the gifts of the Spirit, word of knowledge, word of wisdom, prophesy, etc. for years.
The Holy Spirit's objective is not to exalt a man by having him ridicule someone else but by lifting up Christ.
The Holy Spirit's agenda is to minister the gospel to a lost and dying world with the focus on what Christ has accomplished on the cross.
I have also had discussions/debates, not to ridicule, but to illuminate the word of God with cult leaders.
I minister on almost a daily basis to groups of christians from every kind of background, race, and maturity level.
I am adamant about pointing out false doctrine when it is being expressed because if the truth sets you free what do you think a lie does?
one of the worst and prolific false doctrines that many organizations/denominatins/churches are in is in relation to adopting a works based salvation.
works based salvation adherents cut themselves off from the full blessings and power of the cross because it's adherents focus on something other than the cross to meet their need.
EVERYTHING we need was FULLY PAID FOR on the CROSS.
Beware of men that rely on their own works or performance to make themselves right with God.
Our justification is through Christ alone.
Don't think I am unable to debate just as gino does, I can, but it would not produce any fruit.
It is really founded in pride, not in a sincere desire to save souls.
The fruit I seek in believers has to do with the fruit of the Spirit, a changed life from the inside out, and the knowledge of how to operate under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
the anointing is not reserved for the offices alone, it is for every believer at every level, to accomplish what God has put in their heart to do for Him.

English is English, Hebrew is hebrew and Latin is Latin and Aramaic is Aramaic, you can not argue the Bible in English without bringing the original language in the dialogue. That's the problem in this discussion. Both parties only speak English and neither can go, but so far. This is the major problem with interpretation. You must do thorough exegesis.
Edith Critchlow i believe brother Smith is actual using the original language better than Jennings. Jennings will not allow him to speak to give revelation KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING of the Word of GOD. He won't allow Smith to speak at all because he can't fight the original language. Jennings doesn't teach using the Strong Concordance to give the full meaning.

Search the biblical record and find one apostle, or even Christ himself calling themselves "christians," or confirming the use of the tern. My Hebrew and Greek Bible defines the term "Elohim" in both plural and singular form, with, of course a variation in spelling. Such as God/god in the English. Capitalizing the first latter gives noticeable indication that a distinction is being made by the use of the term. However, it is the intent of the user that is pertinent.
Nevertheless, you may choose to live in error. All will be made plain at the judgment. And, I don't suspect this belief will damn you at that time...but I am not Jesus Christ.

You are correct. Isaiah 9:6 did no help that poor but valiant Elder of COGIC However. St. John 1:1, StJohn 20:17 and Matthew 4:1 would have cleared EVERYTHING up. Those 3 verses SHOW that there are 3 DISTINCT characteristics of the 1 true Elohim. Im not a big Gennings fan either but the man DOES know scripture and some of the things he says does make alot of sense, shame that he is blinded by 2 doctrines, the one of the RCC having him to not give Mary credit (which she shouldn't get much) and the doctrine of the God Only, to refute Mary.

As a believer, this is embarrassing! The Bible tells us to do all things as unto the Lord. Now if the Lord was present, at this particular meeting, would He have been glorified? That fatal misinterpretation sets the Father and Son as equals. How one believes affects how one gives praises and glory. Satan was cast down because he wanted the praises for himself. That is how serious God is about worship. All praises and glory goes to God, the Almighty. We cannot take away what belongs to God and expect to be saved.

As pitiful as this brother was in making his case, Pastor Jennings argument destroys his own point. Pastor Jennings said that Jesus existed as a thought in the mind of God. I just have to ask him to find the chapter and verse that says that. He cannot because that scripture does not exist.
Pastor Jennings said Jesus existed as a thought in God's mind, like Abraham. He gave no scripture or verse that says that. Therefore he had to surmise that from his understanding of the scripture. So if he is going to hold Bro Smith to an actual quote from the scripture. then he needs to hold himself to the same criteria. there is no scripture that says that god is omniscient, but we can conclude from the scriptures that he is omniscient. Is god omnipresent? Yes, now find the verse in the bible that says God is omnipresent. You can't do it because it doesn't exist.
After reading so many comments I feel really sad.. people are too smart for their own good... too much overthinking... trying to understand GOD and what he does is impossible... We as people have gotten far too dependent on theory... I will pray for all of you to gain understanding....
