he could probably contact Rickman Metice in England and get a good street legal frame for a Rickman Metice Zundapp they used to make them back in the old days they were great little bikes it would have to be sold as a reproduction 1965 with a bill of sale in order to register it to be run on the street I would also have polished aluminum rims with stainless steel spokes but believe me that would be a beautiful bike
insane work !! if i could only model 1/30th i would be so stoked !!!! nice video ! and although i am not into motors... damn nice !! oh and lets not forget you build that sick performing cnc to !
yes but he has the machine and could make up a bunch of them. I have an old Hodaka Ace 100 2 stroke engine case and I bet you he could also build that vintage engine the same way. There was another old bike that I would really like to be able to get was a 1974 MB 100 cc bike made in Florence Italy I only ever saw 1 of them in the USA red silver with MB on the gas tank and that bike was a beauty too I had an old 1965 KS 100 Zundapp in the USA but there was nobody here in the country at the time that knew how to fix the engine I remember I had to send to Munich Germany for some of the parts but I had a problem with the main roller bearings they were all individual rollers that the transmision input shaft went into and I lost a roller they always fell apart and I had nobody I could talk to so oh well thats how it goes
If you went to a larger flood coolant pump it might do a better job washing all those chips down into the tub. Usually a good flood system sprays so much you can’t even see the part.
Wonder if he builds brand new running engines for KS 100 ZUNDAPP with either a 4 speed or a 5 speed transmission it would be Kool to be able to order a brand new running engine that way
Yeah i made the model my self, i guess it took me around a full week to make the 3d model. i used my cnc mill as a cmm to locate all the important features and hole locations. The rest i did with a caliper and some trail and error.
@@Svanitterzon Really really impressing! A collegue of mine was annoyed by the poor quality of his Harley Davidson knucklehead engine so he machined his own. This is just as impressing. Whats your plans now?
@@Svanitterzonmart I’ve done the same when reverse engineering then i went to probing and now I’m back to this since selling my probing machine. Im building a 3d scanner atm and will see how much it can help.
Looks like your getting your feeds & speeds dialed, it's really sounds great. Anything you would change? or do different on your machine? Thanks for the videos!
Looks like the cnc is still working nicely, now you’ve had it for a while, how are the way covers on X and Y working? Any problems with chips getting where they shouldn’t? Would you do them the same way again?
Mooi project!
Very nice work! I have a question where you order the stock materials (aluminium blocks)? I have some own engine parts I need to manufacture but have problems to find a store to buy big stock materials from.
Eindelijk! Keek hier al een hele tijd naar uit. Toevallig zat ik laatst op je kanaal te kijken of er al wat was geupload. Leuke content man!
Really fantastic workmanship. you mill is working great and your CAD CAM skills are impressive. Thanks for up loading your work.
Insane work! Can't wait to see this engine in a frame!

Gewoon fantastisch als je zelf zo'n machine ter beschikking hebt. Top gedaan.
Wat een vakwerk Stef!. Echt gaaf om te zien wat er mogelijk is met een zelfgebouwde machine.
Very cool, well done and done on a machine you completely built yourself! Very impressive.

The 100000 euro Zündapp Engine :) Great work
Very nice work! Where did you get the models for the engine? Or did you make it yourself in Fusion?

Great work.. like this do you have any experience on cylinder block making for motorcycles.. is that possible in billet...share your thoughts...
