Now I have to watch all your videos to build a machine myself too. Very impressive!! Very nice work and craftsmanship!! You deserve a award for the best home built CNC!!
@@Svanitterzon If would be nice if you could put the coolant nozzle on a servo and calculate its angle based on the tool-lengths stored in the library.

Really a great job. I am converting many lathes to CNC and I am currently building a CNC turning and milling centre based on an old Emco Maximat standard. Your milling machine is certainly one of the best I have seen in the hobby area. Greetings from Austria.
first of all this work is amazing and it's professionally finished the machine is showing high performance and rigidity , i'm thinking of purchasing the eding cnc controller i have read the manual but i didn't find the way to modify the macro.cnc file that is responsible for executing the m6 command in this case running the atc to do the tool changing cycle who did you accomplish this please.
Man, this machine is incredible! Awesome work. Please keep posting, I would really like to see more. For example, what kind of tolerances can you achieve in steel?
Great work on the macro and the user screens! About the 360degrees limit of the umbrella; In eding you can choose the type of axis that is used on that output. (In the setup tab, under 'slave mode' have you tried 'rot' or '4th mill'? Allthough the latter is meant to make the 4th axis run in g93-style-like-feed rather than units/time feed. Does my lityle eye spy.... A broken bt30 holder? No worries.. I've broken my share of iso30 forks too...
Yes your eye is right, i broke one when i was loading a tool manually in the pocket by hand, luckily i ordered some spare once. About the axis on Eding, i checked but seems only channel 4 supports 4th mill, channel 6 can only be a slave or a rotating axis, and on that channel i have mounted the tool changer.
its because of the camera, my phone try's to stable the image but the machine moves to fast so it looks a bit strange. it also looks like my vise is like a puding.
Do you have a sensor to check if the draw bar locked the tool correctly? Or is there a chance that a tool can fall down ? Also you can turn off the "stabilization" parameter in your camera settings, the machine will look less wobbly:)
Hello! Good job! Tell me please what controller are you using and what type of motors.have you installed encoders in the work table? How much does weights all the machine? Have you connected the spindle directly to the tool or you have used a transmission well.if so,what raport? Thank you very much in advance.and one last question:how much cost you everything, except the work?
Congratulations on your excellent work. It is of interest to me what kind of CAM you use and what kind of postprocessor. I use the same control USB CNC. Thanks
Hello, how do you control the alignment of the tool to make the tool change? Do you use any brakes to block the alignment ?. I congratulate you on your project. It is one of the best I've seen.
Yeah i measured 15 seconds for a toolchange if the tool is like the next tool in line. I bought those toolclamps on aliexpress for the price i cant make then my self.
@@Svanitterzon Thats Ok. Yes flood cooling and is best however there may be better suited lubricants for this (just seeing if any one knows) For example we use to use METHO to cool and lubricate aluminium. It worked. But today i would think it could be risky but you do not use much.
Nice. You can optimize the tool changing speed a bit. The spindle goes initially all the way up, then down to the tool changer umbreala. Similarly after the tool change is done, it goes again up to the top. I don't think it is necessary, and adds 1-2 seconds of delay each time. Unless it has something to do with some home sensors.
I used eding already for a few years, also on my other machines. I know how it works and didnt want to learn a new controller. And it's a Dutch product.

The automatic tool change followed by the manual WD40 spraying, really made me laugh!
Awesome work on your CNC. Keep up the good work.
I gone need an automatic wd40 sprayer Xd

You need deffinetly 3+1/2 AXIS being the last one your arm with a WD 40 spray
Not a bad thing really. It keeps the operator from going to sleep.
Frickin brilliant my man. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the progression of this monster!

Damn that's an impressive machine!
very nice build, how many thousands of hrs do you have in design and building it.
Did you make any video of manufacturing the way covers they are looking very nice

Amazing what you made. You got a nifty machine there 👌👌
World needs more people like you, builders and creators, anymore the loudest voices are people trying to destroy and divide, we need lot less of them.
Awsome machine you build there! It looks like the left part of the waycover of the Y-Axis came loose (3:05).

Really good machine.Did you calculate the budget ?

WHAT, no automated WD-40 sprayer?
Aside from that I'm impressed!
Are you impressed by his accuracy with the spray because I sure am.
hy which spindle servo do you have that you can run at 200 rpm am an enthusiast of your milling machine
carefully reviewing the final finish of the aluminum piece, do you think it is good?
Awesome work, the sensor config looks interesting.

What kind of bellow covers are there on the X and Y axis? Oh, you made a so nice control panel as an industrial machine.
I wish you would have added some pictures of the part clean.
Great job🦾
What is controller name?
Can you give us an estimate on how much you already spent to get the machine to this point? Amazing work, so much done!
Somewhere between 16 and 17k i guess.
looks more rigid than any haas ive ever ran, lol .. great machine man.

I use fusion360 for the cam with the eding postprocessor
@@Svanitterzon Thanks. Have nice day.
Where did you get the covers they are very nice and bout the size I need
Contact a supplier on Aliexpress
Great machine! im curious where did you get that spindle servo? im building a vmc myself and i would love to know
I bought it straigt from the factory in china. Search for szgh automation. m.szghauto.com/product/115.html
Great work, Stef! Sounds like Dark Vader @ 3:50 ;-)
Best knee mill ever!
This is such an amazing build! Where did you get the table from?
How accuracy your machine was?
Hello, how do you control the alignment of the tool to make the tool change? Do you use any brakes to block the alignment ?. I congratulate you on your project. It is one of the best I've seen.
It's a function of the spindle driver, just give it a signal and it will move the spindle to a predefined spot and keeps it there.
Very nicely done👍
Awesome stuff, what are you using to operate the machine?
Edingcnc
Program kaise banaae sir
At around 20sec per tool its rather slow , but you will find out that later 😁. Did you make the white plastic tool clips?
Yeah i measured 15 seconds for a toolchange if the tool is like the next tool in line. I bought those toolclamps on aliexpress for the price i cant make then my self.
Hi, Stef ! How do I contact you to talk about your CNC machine?
have you bolted the machine to the floor?
No its standing on 6 rubber machinefeets.
Could some one that is looking could you please advise of a better product to use then wd40. As a lubricant for drilling.
That's already being take care of with floodcoolant. Will try to make a new video on that soon. 😅

How the tool charger programming is integrated?
Its a macro that gets called when the m6 command is entered.

Теперь осталось зделать систему СОЖ и можно работать ,но для СОЖ нужно делать ограждение.
