some graft been put in and i for one would like to say a big thankyou for all the work you and your team do to supply us with food glad you are managing to get the grass in i see loads are struggling with how wet fields are hopefully the good weather is on the way fingers crossed
🤣🤣🤣 yes Jake was very quiet for some time afterwards. He’s only 19 years and only driven on The road and flat land. Some of our land is steep and challenging. You have to have your wits about you.
Hi Adrian, I missed him setting off with the tractor and trailer!! As far as I understand is he did the correct thing and just let the tractor run out down the hill. The best way is just to concentrate on keeping it straight and let it run out. That would be, No brakes, No clutch pressed. (In other words, feet off) To touch brakes may cause a sliding of the trailer and tractor. It then may have over turned as it went sideways. If there was no room to run out (a wall, a cliff etc.) then things are different. All was well and he has learned from the experience. Thank Your for your Question. Richard.
@@adrianchetwynd1334 it’s a shame I didn’t catch it event on camera. I agree with you about the brakes. The driver, Jake, has only just passed his tractor test. He is 17 years old. So a little short of experience. He has not been driving tractors from a young age. I’m sure he will gain experience.
Mathew, We have tried it the other way around. Orange side up. On the new roll it is rolled so the orange side is down. To roll it out with orange side up, it is bad to roll out as the roll is upside down. You are probably correct. We have tried it both ways and it doesn't seem to make ay difference. Thank you for your message.
@@yorkshirefarming no worries, trying it myself for the first time this year and just what the instructions said. Can’t see it making much difference myself 👍🏻
Lets get this guy up to a 100k subscribers and you wont need a bank loan to get a new tractor.
That would be unbelievable. Thank you. I can’t see my small channel growing so large. Thanks again. 👍
Nice tunes 😀
Thank you. They take some finding 👍
The bank that likes to say NO .🤙

Thank you so much for your kind messages of support. It is very much appreciated.
New underpants for Jake lol
As you say, we all have to learn, as long as the mistakes are injury free, its a good school day

How did the new driver manage to lock both back wheels and skid so far, did he have his foot on the clutch?

@@yorkshirefarming Trailers don't have engine braking, so careful use of the brakes would help.

Just found your channel, fantastic video!
Not sure if it makes much difference but that sheet is supposed to be orange side up
