I love what the gentlemen said at the end. "We're just enjoying it, if we lose money well we do if we make money we do!" I mean this is the fruits of your labor. If you can afford something enjoyable well it's your money and your life. Go for it. May God continue your Blessings.

Oh I thought 280,000 was what he paid, and that it would be almost 480,000 for anyone else to have the same thing. So then I think it is a reasonable price for such a playground.
Howbeit, I will never see that much money nor have such a beautiful place or the way my life had been will never even met anyone that has anything this beautiful so I can visit... Bummer!

The folks who built this pool seem like really nice people. I wish I was their neighbor. Absolutely LOVE the dog!! It looks like he's having the time of his life.
What I love best about these people with their over-the-top fantastic pool is there really down to earth especially when he says what have I done LOL

This is the most beautiful lazy river I have ever seen. Everything is just beautiful . My daughter agreed with me. The whole layout is absolutely awesome 👍
Absolutely amazing. My father in law built gunite pools for 50+ years. We never saw anything like this, and I love the owners attitude and candor. Amazing layout, well done.
What a nice couple, and so in sync with each other. Too, I like that, while they could have 'sat' on that money, they chose, instead, to have an adventure; the back-yard paradise! This couple is thrilled that they took this opportunity..I mean--you can just see it and hear it..Even their terrier is in a happy state of THRILLED.! Last, I also hear in their voices not one bit of pretentiousness, just two people who are happy and grateful for their success, and glad for the opportunity to share with family, friends and neighbors. They'd be great to know, even without their back-yard oases.♥

I think that was 280,000 dollars well spent. They could have said 1 million and I would have believed that. I imagine if you or I wanted to have that built it would cost more like 500,000 since that guy designed it all himself
$1 million is a huge stretch. I honestly thought 280k as a builder himself was a little high, the yard is not very big. Amazing job regardless.
I didn't miss speak. We actually preformed test to prove that. I was talking about the movement in the body of water. Not the capability of the pumps.

I ended up with a pool, a Lagoon and 3 waterfall aeas :)
I had 2 acres to work with though !

Its really not that bad. I really haven't noticed a difference from when we run the pumps to not running them.

It is very beautiful and the owners are really nice but it's a little strange to me that they decided to build the pool in a neighborhood with such close quarters between the homes. You would think they would invest in buying a bigger home with acres of backyard where they could effectively have more private land to build their mini resort.

This is in 2018, and in his defense, his neighborhood is wonderful. I personally didn't live in his but I've lived in those areas of Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington and those are great people to live around they nice and helpful and no drug problems and unhappy families. They are too busy working making money to have a good life and to be happy in this life. Such a different life living like that.
Yep, this exactly. I'd much rather have this in a setting where there are no other homes around me, at least not so dang close I can just step 5 feet out of the pool and look over the fence.
Then you will have a "boring river", and after a few year, you even don't want to maintain it anymore.
He built exactly what he wanted to build and enjoy it, share it with the nice neighborhood. That's why his pool is really awesome.

Only Catch Was I Had To Design It In My Apt Rental. This Of Course Was With The Landlord's Permission. So I Used My Spare Bedroom Which Is In One Of Those Old Houses With High Ceilings & Giant Rooms. So I Literately Floated Out A Entire 2nd Room Inside Of A Room. Framed Out Wall To Wall Floor & Ceiling & Cladded The Entire Room Of Simple Interior Steel So It's Self Standing. So NOW You Have A Exact Copy Of The Entire Room . So Now You Have A Empty Pallet To Work On & Create From. Which I Did To The T, So I Designed The Interior That Of A Vintage Movie Palace. BEST PART. I Designed A Complete Stage Inside Of This Home Theater. YES A FULLY WALK Around On Stage. The Size Of The Room Is 15'W x20'D X 9'H. The Stage Is 10'W x 10'D x 9'H. The Stage Is Fully Smart Controlled & Uses My Own System I Developed Called: SSTS=Smart Stage Technology System. So I Can Literately On Our Tablet Which Is Master Control. It Has ALL Of The Various Modes & Setting On The Stage. So In Essence It's The WORLDS First Ever TRANSFORMING STAGE. So If I Want Movie Mode, Simply Tap On Movie Mode Icon Sit Back & Let The Magic Happen As The Entire Stage Comes To Life With A Pre Announcement Followed My The Opening & Setting Up Sequences That You Get To Watch As Different Curtains Begin To Open & Also Descend Down From Above All Of The Movie Elements The 100" Eleite Motorized Screen, All Of The Side Vertical & Horizontal Masking Are Lowered Into Place. That looks so fun, if that pool was in my back yard, I would be swimming in it all the time too! But wow, 20 hp = 14.5 kW. Half an hour of those pool pumps running uses more electricity than my average daily household power needs!

Fa'nish Life Style You never get your money back for a pool. There's a lot of maintenance, both physical, and economical, that needs to be done. Not everybody wants that. You might get lucky...but don't expect your pool to appreciate the value of your home.

These people run a company that, 'CLEANS/BUILDS' pools for a living. Even if you could afford the $200,000+ for the pool the maintenance would kill you, unless you are super wealthy. That is why these, "NORMAL" folk can do this, their maintenance is minimal since that is what they do.
+Sahadi420 You cannot put a price on family fun and memories! Pool owners that really enjoy their pool don't expect to get every dime back that they put into it.
what ever they do with there pool i still think it's beautiful. The price was a thought for some of the community it was just a thought i'm sure they have people that ask to use there pool for birthday parties for there children like a neighborhood friend . That's what i said i would do if it was mine . they might be going for the super wealthy to buy it you never know
