Hey Beau, anything you find from the past is treasure IMHO. Thanks for sharing another adventure with us. Several years ago, I started watching you and nuggetnoggin. To this day you two are my favorite detectorists. Not saying anything bad about all the others out the there, it's just your personalities are more in sync with mine. Thanks again. Stan
As a kid in the 70's, I remember seeing a bathroom soap dish that looked exactly like that rectangular dish with the holes. So if it wasn't intended as such, it was definitely used as such sometimes. As always, enjoying your videos. Thank you for taking the time & effort to share your explorations, relic hunts, & occasional wildlife rescues with us! Hugs to you & your wife from Canada!
Nice pile of home made sinkers there Beau! The holed plate was most likely a soup dish! Nice finds all the same, the water did look murky for sure! Thanks for sharing and HH
I change my batteries in my AT Pro at 2 bars too. Then I put the batteries in my Xterra-705 and use them until the machine shuts off as it regulates the power.
Chigg, the metal dish like thing you found in part of a soap dish. That would site inside of a like dish without the holes! The soap would be directly in water.
The object at 3:10 is called a "goat head" by lineman like myself. It's for attaching guy wire to a utility pole. Virtually worthless unless you have a home project. Some guys will "habitat" things if they're working in the woods.
Beau, you should check out one of those pedal powered kayaks for when you want some peace and quiet and need to maneuver through muck. There's one that uses flippers and the other uses a propeller that you can flip out of the way .
Beau, Your found white enameled tray (with holes) was used in the early days (turn of the Century) to sterilize medical instruments and syringes. The medical tools were set on the try which was then submerged in boiling water for sterilization! The white pot was often used during surgery to isolate tissue, blood coated bandages, and other contaminated objects. These pots were found in many places in a medical environment. Was there a hospital nearby this river?
Good work Chigg. Man those bullets had no oxidation. I wonder if its because of the water quality. Your buddy BirdDogg is in need of a new detector. Maybe you could talk to the good people at Garrett and hook a brother up with that new AT Max. Almost forgot we all think its a soap dish. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Chigg, question here! How can you tell musket balls (5:30) apart from fishing sinkers? I know sinkers are not exactly round and you can open/close them, but there are some that I found that are completely round looking. I've Pin-Pointed a lot of sinkers underwater in undetected areas and I always thought I'm finding sinkers..but some are so round that I can't even tell. Is there something I should know how to ID them? Keep up the good work!
Lmfao, not saying what everyone else said. Ty for the video been watching you before you had this many followers. You always reminded me of my dad in his treasure hunting journeys. When he came home my sister and I would go through all his pockets to see the the little treasures he hid!
that is a rams head or a Down Guy Hook goes up at the top of the electrical, telephone or utility pole to attach a down guy the ears or the bulls horns are at the top the skinny small end goes down toward the ground
Any chance of an inventory upload. Love to see the gems of your collection. I know you have a lot as watched your channel for a while but to see them in one place 😀😀😀😀
where is the video that shows you with a short metal detector. Did you just shorten the AT Pro I can't recall too much of it. And I want to start doing some under water detecting.
The Item in question at around the 5:15 mark... WHICH, appears in being an extremely UN-RARE... Old Mountable SOAP DISH TRAY... (My apologies Mr. Chigg... BUT... Where'd we all be without a Lil' HuuuuMoar... 😂)
I was wondering if the AT Max was water proof using the wireless headphones? Also if you wanted to use the external speaker with the headphones how would you do that? It is good to see you home in the water Beau even if you don't find much. Thanks for keeping it real GL&HH
Chigg I have a question! I was metal detecting on some dirt bike jumps that got bulldozed, when I found I very weird item, it came up very high and looks like a bullet, I think it is lead, it looks old, has no indication that it was in a shell, and it has no rings, the thing that confused me was that it had black and yellow paint on it. Maybe you could help with trying to figure out if it's a bullet or what, because I know nothing about bullets and live in Canada!!!!
Another fine, albeit scummy, video. That water gave me the shivers, hope you went home and took a really hot bath. I don't know how you stand it sometimes but it is sure fun watching. Thanks a million.
Hello detectors, I have a question. I've been practicing with my Garret ACE 250 (I'm new at this) and I'm just curious will older, deeper relics give out the same clear and constant beep as a quarter 1 inch below ground? I'm just curious as I'll be going to a historical property and I don't want to skip the good stuff on account of a bad beep an inconstant beep. Is this just just something that practice makes perfect?
Blake Stalnaker. There is a number of variables that come into play on a deeper target, which way is it positioned, how big is the target and the big one, what type of soil am I hunting in. (There are others also) Highly mineralized soil generally has a high iron content and therefore tends to "mask" your target which will affect how well your detector picks it up. The more time you invest in running your detector the quicker you will catch on to what it's trying to tell you. I know this advise is somewhat generic but I'm not sure how else to put it without writing a book☺ Good luck & Happy hunting.
Aquachigger can you point me in the direction of a decent easy to use metal detector that isn't going to cost me an arm and leg? Or someone. Looking at this Bounty Hunter lone star. Or the Ace 200 or 250 wanna start looking for stuff in Ks especially around old Military silos near me Any ideas?
Beau started it, it's his group. I am only an admin for him. He has talked about it in other videos aswell as pinned comments for it. Hope you check it out!

3:00 item is an anchor hook that goes on a utility pole to attach a guy wire
As a kid in the 70's, I remember seeing a bathroom soap dish that looked exactly like that rectangular dish with the holes. So if it wasn't intended as such, it was definitely used as such sometimes.

Great video buddy, always fun to watch. Keep finding history!!!
The cow bells are always my favorite finds.
Moar cow bell!
That little tray with holes is for bar soap
John Bowerman
Absolutely!
11:15 It's called a Good Luck Token. Made out of Aluminum
3:00 that is pretty good those things are probably as old as you they are called rams head and are used on telephone poles
Nice pile of home made sinkers there Beau! The holed plate was most likely a soup dish! Nice finds all the same, the water did look murky for sure! Thanks for sharing and HH

Soap disk, Beau.
Duh..dish
yep, soap dish missing it's wall or tub mount.
judy lutz Yup, I also believe that's what it is.
Just wanted to say love watching your video
I thought so too
Beau please do more bottle digging and lots more metaldetecing land and water
I got a fever and the only prescription is moar cowbell!
The object at 3:10 is called a "goat head" by lineman like myself. It's for attaching guy wire to a utility pole. Virtually worthless unless you have a home project. Some guys will "habitat" things if they're working in the woods.
Home made or improvised relics are my favorite to find, just like those sinkers you have.
That tray with holes is a old antique soap dish.. My Grandfather had one in his cabin...
Beau, you should check out one of those pedal powered kayaks for when you want some peace and quiet and need to maneuver through muck. There's one that uses flippers and the other uses a propeller that you can flip out of the way .
John Doe I love cruising in a Hobie and confusing people. "Where's the engine?"
I'm sure he's in the mud flippers don't do alot when your sinking
I enjoy watching your videos. A good pastime for me.
Beau,

Chigg, you almost drowned me at 1:58. You forgot to tell me to hold my breath. LOL
Ha!, we veteran Chigger watchers hold our breath throughout the whole video, so we dont end up like you did. You gotta be prepared m8
Leone my problem is he doesn't tell us to breathe and I then pass out. It scares my wife!
Beau, that badge I believe is a good luck token. I've found a few here in Pennsylvania. Great video, have a good weekend.
chig's army checking in!
Any day you get in the water, is a great day for all of us. Glad you remembered extra batteries! (Where's the mask? 😈 )
That last thing you found was a ARCADE-STAMPED GOOD LUCK COIN
Custom-stamped aluminum lucky tokens are sold from machines at amusement parks.
Thing with holes in it. It is a soap dish the holes are for that the water drains off the soap to make it last longer.
Your item with the holes in it is a soap bar holder/drain. Nice finds as always! Keep your videos coming! ;-)
Brilliant Finds! Thanks Chigg!
I m pretty sure the thing you found with all the hole in it is a soap dish that at one time was mounted to the top of a tub on legs faucet.
Chigg have you ever found a artillery shell on dry ground, and if so how different was the rust on it?
Good work Chigg. Man those bullets had no oxidation. I wonder if its because of the water quality. Your buddy BirdDogg is in need of a new detector. Maybe you could talk to the good people at Garrett and hook a brother up with that new AT Max. Almost forgot we all think its a soap dish. Thanks for sharing.
I like your videos you're inspiring me to get out with my metal detector

Gasp ... gurgle... sputter! You didn't warn me to hold my breath! I almost drounded!!! 😂
Awsome finds love the cow bell :)
Last find I believe is a name plate you would hang on your keys. I think it is from the 70's or early 80's.
May God bless ya Chigg.👍👍
the little dish with the holes in it is an old soap dish 1920 ish
Chigg you can never have too much cowbell.
Lmfao, not saying what everyone else said. Ty for the video been watching you before you had this many followers. You always reminded me of my dad in his treasure hunting journeys. When he came home my sister and I would go through all his pockets to see the the little treasures he hid!

The white dish with holes is a soap dish😁
Chig, you didn't tell me to hold my breath when you put the camera under, and I drowned :'(
Great video, as always :)
I believe the object with the holes in it is a soap dish tray
where is the video that shows you with a short metal detector. Did you just shorten the AT Pro I can't recall too much of it. And I want to start doing some under water detecting.
The item after the pot was a wall mounted soap dish. The bracket is broken off.
Hey Chigg, is there any chance that Chigg Army shirts will be revived in the future?
I hope so, i need to get one!
Beau... how many bullets do you have in your collection now?
That "badge" probably has text stamped in it. It looks like one of those things you'd stamp your name in at the amusement park..
5:03 - soap tray?
We get green algae around Seattle, signs go up "No Humans in the Water, Dogs should not drink it either".
At 5:09, that's an old 'Soap Tray'.
5:10 soap dish holder ?
Hello, I want to look for gold nuggets in rivers, what is the best setting for the Garrett AT Max ??
Isn't it a flick of sheep? What's that beep in the background? Not the detectors beep, but sounds like a backup beep
what was upstream that was keeping you from putting you head underwater Beau?
The Item in question at around the 5:15 mark...
WHICH, appears in being an extremely UN-RARE... Old Mountable SOAP DISH TRAY...
(My apologies Mr. Chigg... BUT... Where'd we all be without a Lil' HuuuuMoar... 😂)
I LOVE YA CHIGG!
Your videos are really good btw
5:00 - soap dish?

Where there tip-up trucks riding backwards to fill up "your river" full of iron and other crap? Or was it the moaning sound of your Garret AT Max? ;-)
I love ur vid plz keep them up
2:58 thats a foot hold for a tree stand
"i gotta have, more, cowbell!"
5:11 shower soap dish maybe?
Recommend getting a garrett pinpointer ?
Chigg I have a question! If you give me your email maybe I can send you a picture of it!
Hey chiggs I could have sworn I saw you in Maryland the other day. I'm not sure.. but I'm pretty sure haha.
What's the name of that magnetic pole thing you've got there? I'm thinking about getting it
SquidGoat the magnet is at the opposite end of his pick. If memory serves he's got a video of making it. 😉
Thanks dude
Another fine, albeit scummy, video. That water gave me the shivers, hope you went home and took a really hot bath. I don't know how you stand it sometimes but it is sure fun watching. Thanks a million.
thing with holes in it was a soap dish?
Could the piece with holes be a soap dish?
Can you do a video of the at max looking for gold and nuggets?
good video!

I think your little box with the holes in it is something to set bars of soap on...
The thing with holes in it is a soap bar holder!
AT All Day
Awesome Possum
Soapdish is what that thing with the holes is.
The thing with the holes is a soap dish I believe
question. Who turns the bullets into sinkers? soilders?.. just curious :) love your channel btw!
-SA, Texas
Good luck token
Nice!
Why would a handle be on bell?
Well this movie could do with a new comment or two. Not watched it in a while . 🌳👍
Soap dish Chig, you were just holding it upside down.
Chig...why so many broken locks?
What’s the background noises?
what is that beeping noise?
Is that case shot
The white thing with the holes is a soap dish.
that toy badge looks more like a good luck token.
The enamel ware thing with holes looks like a soap holder
merci
At 2:14 to your left looks like a large spoon.
