Just use a slip knot to attach the level line to the lillian. The knot is tied on the line, slipped over the stopper knot on the lillian, cinched down. Good to go. You can detach the level line by dampening the knot and pulling the tag end of the knot, making it possible to have several rigs ready to go on a spool and quickly change setups.
Another way is to tie your main loop about 60 mm long then tie another smaller loop in the loop you’ve tied ,so you have a small loop on a larger loop. If you then get your main line and create a loop which you then feed through your larger loop and place this over the tenago end line and pull your main line to tighten the loop you then have it secured to the tenago end . However you then have the facility of pulling on the small loop which then makes you leader unfasten from the tenago. This means you can then collapse tenago rod and replace bung and have your tenago line to put away for reuse another time. It sounds complicated but real easy once you’ve done it a couple of times
Just googled how to set up Tanago rod and this was the first result. Good effort.
You got one???

Simple! Where did you get your rod, are they easy to get? Tight lines
Aliexpress but tanagomax in the UK sells them
@@Howtotrickafish Never thought of Aliexpress. There are some fabulous little rods on there, might have to treat myself.
