again to the war in gaza but the syrian people dont want to fight w/Israel coz its not their war.gaza is iran's problem and not syrian problem.the new govt of syria wants to talk w/usa&israel in diplomatic way and not through fighting.you must accept the reality that the syrian want to rebuild their country so they dont want to engage in war anymore coz they are tired.

The big mistake made in the Iraq and Libya conflicts was allowing fighters to retain control over their weapons. The new Syrian administration is wisely trying to contain or prevent that from becoming a problem. Of course some Assad regime loyalists are still about trying to wreak havoc, but they are being dealt with.

In just a few years time you'll be praising Jolani , the former deputy leader of ISIS and the founder of Al Qaeda as a hero and a freedom fighter . Well you (or rather the poor long suffering Syrian people ) have finally got your Wahabi "freedom". You've toppled a secular state where all religions were freely practiced and replaced it with one run by intolerant fundamentalist Islamists . " Oh but these one's are different " Yeah right they are . They've already told female judges not to turn up for work and declared there will only be one party , no opposition ( and this is the honeymoon period , they haven't even started yet ) . But hey, if Bibi says it's good then it must be good , right ? Just like if Bibi says slaughtering infants is ok then it is ok . I mean how on earth could we have ever thought it was wrong . As for the guy who served 24 years, I think he knew but doesn’t want to admit it, but also keep this in mind, in an authoritarian society that has conscription, it’s very easy for young men to just end up stuck in the military until they are old, I mean based on what they said in the video it doesn’t sound like the soldiers were being treated very well either, I’d seen in other reports that these guys were robbing people and demanding bribes, and I would bet for some of them they did that because they weren’t getting payed or any food. My thought is, if society gets broken down to such a degree, you are gonna have to go with amnesty for most people otherwise you just end up with a purge. let begin by the fact that I am israeli, won't go into the politic of it all, but there is something that strike me.
and that how bad of a channel bbc is.
I hate when they say this damned phrase "couldn't be verified independently" since almost anything they do they really don't care about verifying it at all.
but they choose to put this phrase exactly when it suits their agenda.
of course the assad soldier won't be saying out loudly they fought those rebels on ideological basis, because they have literal armed former rebel 2 meter from there who control now their lives.
those former rebels did a lot of bad thing, everyone do bad thing in war or before.
but I can't anymore with that "independent" branding on BBC.
they don't care about being independent they care about being neutral as possible so they get to film in place like that.
