Beautiful forest, natural silence, the crackle of wood and the warmth of the fire, camping food it is always beautiful, what else do you need for happiness? Videos like yours are very motivating to take a backpack off the shelf and go wandering through the forest trails. And I am one of those people who became involved in tourism after watching a video on TH-cam. And you continue to draw me into this hobby more and more..... Thank you for the pleasant atmosphere.
Aside from the cold and wet, there is something truly magical about a good overnighter in winter. A hot fire, food and sturdy dry shelter. Lucky fella, mang.
Took nothing but good memories, left nothing, just footprints. Amazing. I loved the hand saw. I loved the grilled bird, done to perfection. Thank you for sharing.
It's very interesting. It seems almost genetic, but it shouldn't be. I mean you understand that we like the sound and sight of water, because that's been important throughout our evolution as a species, but fire and rain drumming on our tents? Why should that be soothing?

Love the poncho shelters. Last winter(during my military service, in Estonia) we had to camp under poncho (like yours but a bit smaller, we call it poncho/biwy) for a night in -23 degrees. Couple months before that we had a week long camp with ponchos (was kinda rainy). Since then Im a huge fan of that kind of camping.
