Bushcraft is a skillset. It's not mandatory as a bushcrafter to go naked to the woods and trying to survive. To do that every week is a unrealistic fantasy. The way I see it, bushcraft skills make hiking and camping more efficient, lightweight and interesting... and not to forget FUN!.
You are eating better in the woods than I am at home. Amazing as always, and an absolutely killer ending with the drone and your great guitar. So much work, such great results. We all grow, and things change, but I hope you continue doing these forever. Thank you.
This is my favorite yet of your productions. The minimalist philosophy you use as you interact with the wildlands of your beautiful country is pure art. You show such respect for the land and everything has a purpose with utmost efficiency! The food you prepare is similar - what perfection in purpose and form. You are also an awesome musician. The music reflects as well, your style - simple yet complex at the same time! Thank you for such inspiration. Superb!!!
Natures Art of Solitude mixed with the Beauty of Wonderful Food is Nourishment for the Body,Mind and Soul............. I could Hear, See, Smell,Taste and Feel everything you were doing and yet I never moved from the confines of my Desk. Perfection in the form of Video Art. Skål !
Most excellent. 66 years doing this in Canada and I never thought to just use the folding steamer as a fire box / platform for wet winter fires. Excellent idea!... cheap, easy, light, perfect! I've also learned the benefits of a really big tarp... forget the minimalist 5x7 stuff... go with 12x12 !
I struggle to know what to say anymore. Your videos breath life into me. Thank you again for the time taken. I hope Hugin and Munin are treating you well. Skal my friend.
These vids are some of the best if not The Best of these particular types of subjects. The no talking is one of the best parts of all that. Thanks so much Swedwoods. Great vids please keep it up!
In many ways the woods is like a church. If you go in there with the right mindset you´ll find solitude...if not you will be judged harshly. Love your videos, thanks for sharing. Tumme upp från Göteborg!
Really enjoyed your video. The stuffed pepper looked delicious and easy to make. I loved the potatoes, onion on the stick with the meat cooking over fire. Also REALLY liked the banana chocolate treat. Yummy, Thank you.
That was such an excellent video. The rain, the no talk, the meals were delicious looking. That steak and banana split wow. Even the music at the end. Awesome!
I watch a lot of your TH-cam videos and I must admit there really good. I do I like the way you do different styles of setting up your shelters/lean toos and your cooking recipes to make a bit different everytime you camp out. thanks very much for the videos I really enjoy watching.
MASTERPIECE! From start to finish! Fantastic effort in making the best i harsh conditions, wet and cold! Food, drone shots in the end. And last but not the least, little bit of string picking made by yourself, fantastic!
Hello my Outdoors friend, thank you for sharing your fine video. You are quite the outdoors gourmet. That bell pepper dish looked mighty tasty. All the best to you. 🤗
I can always count on an amazing video from you sir. How great are the little things we take for granted each day. Comfort, food, serenity. Most of all time, I thank you for yours.
Nice space to pick & pitch your tent, so quiet & just perfect for nice peaceful time out. Love the cooked stuffed pepper I swear I could've smelt it from here. Next meal - lunch ? nice. Many times the next camp site looked like an ancient forest, dark & foreboding. but turned out picture perfect as far as the snow falling. Roast Beef with onion n potato to end a wet days work.
Stuffed bell peppers are great aren't they? I see you manage to catch the snow we had yesterday after the week of rain 👍 Unfortunately I was already back from my trip and missed it. next time!
Nice touch mate, I have had plenty of stuffed peppers in the kitchen but next time it will be while camping. Good idea, love parmesan, potatoes. Also like to add rice to the middle!!
I can barely watch a movie or a show uninterrupted for more than 5-10 mins the most. I have to finish in several attempts resuming from where I’ve left. But these mesmerising 34 mins, I only blinked my eyes as natural instinct. Nothing else.
half of the enjoyment of these videos is the production quality, just brilliant! I dont think I have heard a single plane noise in any of the videos! And then the tool making!
That stuffed bellpepper though! OH-EM-GEE!!! Watching you prepare it, I'm sure the flavor was amazing. So cool how you left your camping site exactly as you found it. Even placed the sod back in the fire hole.
In my country, snow never happen, I really really like this landscape, wish one day i can meet u and u take me to here, sit down, seeing scenery and rain silently Sorry for my bad Eng but i cant keep showing my feeling
Always a pleasure seeing your videos, my friend! And while your camp-cooking skills are both instructive and enticing to watch, do you find, as I often have, that a meal cooked during even moderately inclement weather seems to be more delicious than not?
i m a fan now ...great camping stuff you got there .you can also dig a hole in the gound just below your sleeping bag and put some rocks who you put in the fire and cover the rocks with soil and it will keep you warm....love from india
Fantastisk i like your that bell pepper with grated potatoes and parmesan and your camera it's really so nice and clear HD good job . Hello from Stockholm Daniel
If other TH-cam channels were like this video, it would be a perfect site. Alas, you're one of the few who doesn't scream at the camera or who doesn't love the sound of your own voice or who doesn't beg viewers to pay for your trips etc. For this, well done and keep up the superb excellent video's
Thank you for this new atmospheric adventure video. At 24:02 "Day Three: winter - what a cryptic scenery! Only A v. Ziegler's song Fjölnir would have been a fantastic fit again. I wish you a great and healthy new year 2020 with new atmospheric hikes und much inspiration!

Amazing! I dont know how you manage to keep your warm'th after travelling trought water and wet bushes? I would be near to hypothermia probably with that temperature turning around the freezing point. How do you get the drone to film you while walking? Thanks for taking us with you 🙏 Sylvain, Québec

Hey Swed:I like your channel , because you can take me to the place through the video. could you anwser my question ? when you eat the food in the wild and the food residue fell on the ground nest the camp, will attract wild animals in the night ?
Another great film. Northern climates are great for camping but in a survival situation you’d have to be able to fish or hunt game to survive. Foraging ain’t going to cut it.
What an irony.. Best and most delicious food you can eat in the woods in complete wilderness and not in some fancy restaurant in modern age advanced city environment. My respect to you Swedwoods

Moss,trees,glasses,rain,snow,wind and fire.Oh my god...beautiful.So beautiful.
Thank you!
The reason why I like this channel and this guy, is probably because he doesn’t talk, he is so quite in such a quite place which takes me there.
Nice to hear! That is my goal! Thanks
Swedwoods you are really full of love for beauty and nature .Your videos are amazing and fascinating the same as you
me too

@@Swedwoods the guitar play at the end is really harmonious with the landscape, does it belong to you or ?
Yes. Thanks!
I'm not the only one who watches these kind of videos just for the cooking and eating part.
Definitely not haha
You are eating better in the woods than I am at home. Amazing as always, and an absolutely killer ending with the drone and your great guitar. So much work, such great results. We all grow, and things change, but I hope you continue doing these forever. Thank you.

Thanks! key is to change clothes when you sit still. Because you will get wet no matter what you do.
This will be my comment.
I`m always looking at it with envy from far away japan!
I`d like to ask you one question.
I was very impressed to see the arched saw of the assembly type in the previous post. I also wanted it by all means, and it hit most
companies in japan, but unfortunately there was no trader who handled it in japan.
Sorry for the long and long sentence in the first comment.
Because it is written in the translation machine, it may be difficult to read.
Thank you! I don't know. I have made a lot of saws on this channel.
