This channel is beyond wholesome. Whilst I have hair in my profile pic on here, anyone with decent vision can see I'm losing a tiny bit around the front. When life stresses kicked in some years ago I started to get that "island" on the top and attempted many ways to minimise it or conceal it. It didn't work and whenever I was sat down (on trains, at work, wherever people walk about) I was conscious of people spotting it, and I'd often randomly stand up to talk to them. I could see it was starting to go from around the crown too, whenever I was in lifts with mirrors on all walls. So I'd stand in the corner to block my own reflection from the view of others. This went on for a few years, actually. It kept getting worse, then one day I went on Amazon and ordered a decent pair of clippers (word to the wise - buy good ones, they can last years and some of them even have variable lengths with the guard off, such as 0.5-2.5mm settings). They sat on my shelf for a while. When I was on holiday in Iceland I went to a lagoon, and of course, my hair got wet. The "island" had become a bloody landmass lol. I stewed for a while - family were staunchly against me doing it, and I let them influence me for a bit. Then one day, I knocked back a couple of beers and thought "you know what? Even when I've had a few I still hate myself and am still scared of being laughed at". So I buzzed it to 0.5mm with no guard. Having had to start wearing glasses recently too (I like black frame ones) it's quite a look overhaul and I've had to get used to it. Without this channel I'd probably still be fretting and clinging onto something I hoped I'd always have. But being bald isn't difficult at all - it was an emotional release for me. Here is everything I've learned about dealing with fine hair and a hairline like this (but not as high). So there is the bit that comes down on the forehead, let's call it the Peninsula. Cutting this part shorter than the rest of the hairline is a big mistake. The Peninsula will stay still while the rest moves about due to motion and wind, and then that just looks bad. It'll also stick straight out and be impossible to style. Instead you want to keep it all about the same length, so if you brushed your hair forward, the hair down your face would match your hairline. Also a lot of men brush it back as if that is the only hairstyle you can have. you are better off going UP and over, or adding curl. NOT back, but UP and over, or UP and forward or sideways. i,e straight up out the head like the hair are trees, then it curves over. Volume is the key. If you have straight hair, then growing it long and having some curl to it is very helpful, as is avoiding washing your hair regularly. Washing in even just hot water will strip fine hair dry of oils, and then the hairs themselves scale away and get even thinner, as will rubbing hair with a towel or exposing it to sunlight, alcohol topicals and shampoos. And then another trick is if you can add loads of fine dust to unwashed hair, it'll just have lots more density. For example if you are digging in dirt, you'll notice your hair will really thicken up. Gels / styling products will normally make fine hair looks shite too, so instead just train your hair with some heat to stand up, then knock down the bits you don't want to stand up with water. This isn't a cope, its just hairstyling that actually works. I've had problems styling my hair due to having fine hair forever, long before having an M shaped hairline which seems linked to having sharp sticky out bones on the head. The hairline can be far from the hollywood shape, but the rest of the density can be very good. However if you have crap density all over, then probably best to shave/buzz.
I noticed that in older photos, the odds of men going bald at age 50+ were significantly lower than today. Well I got the idea of people saying it's in your genetics from cancer to obesity our genetics can do anything to us but there's no clock there there are triggers. So it depends on how our lifestyles have changed from 100 years ago to now, the foods we eat, the work we do, etc.
The food has significantly fallen in quality but all that does is speed up your balding if you're genetically predisposed to it. You can't avoid it, sure you can buy yourself more time but that's it.
@@AlexLawSG Yes, and that's why 100 years ago most of the time male pattern baldness progressed aggressively in old age - not as often today as we see many people in their late teens, or early twenties. Overall, the quality of health in Western populations is plummeting in terms of teeth, heart, eyesight, brain, of course, hair, among other organs.
@@Osteoja I live in Europe and I'd like to say I live a generally healthy lifestyle but I will most likely go bald in the future. I pieced my family tree together and found out that both of my great grandfathers are bald, both of my grandfathers are bald, my dad is bald and my uncle is bald, who started balding at 16! and my dad at 24. So I can't outrun it, guess I'll just shave it off and hope that we find a definitive cure.
@@AlexLawSG You should take finasteride 0.5 mg or and minoxidil. However first get a blood test from a doctor to see if your eligible. Or since you're in Europe you shouldn't be too far from Turkey, which also means you can get a transplant for cheap for great results that last a lifetime. Most importantly see what your confidence best suits you and run with it.

@@Osteoja Did all that and I am a good candidate for ht. So far only my temples are a bit light so I can probably preserve most of it if I start now. Still debating what to do. I've been thinking a lot about it for the past 3 weeks. If I get on medication I'm on it for life.
Nah, my man was made to be bald. Great story
Bro yu was a Hair Transplant candidate??
Must be hard for Chad, he will get a lot of chics still.
U two look like brothers
Finasteride 0.5mg every other day and a small 1200 graft FUE hairtransplant and problem solved.
I'm just saying ..
1mg at least.
Don’t bait me 😂
Do you really think 1200 are enough?
@@chungusultimate I'm saying 0.5mg every other day cause most people here are afraid of " side effects " because of the insane fear mongering they find online .
So 0.5mg still works and would make them feel better about taking finasteride basically
@Hbf_Chiller 67 well i think so. Maybe 2500 grafts.
But keeping a bit of a " mature hairline " is kinda good looking imo. So 1200 graft could work out very well for him.
But yeah 2500 grafts would probably be even better indeed
Why the long face?
who needs hair when you have a gigachad jawline
He’s gorg ❤
Should’ve kept the beard imo
Nah not that long it looks better shorter since he’s hairs short
It can always grow 😅
Why would you grow a beard if you have great bone structure?
He looks so much better with a little stubble instead. It's a cliche now bald and beard. Everyone looks the same. With that face he should be showing it off not covering with a beard. Look at Harry he has a beard and looks terrible.
25 and bald. Takes some getting used to but I dig it. Hair is a ball and chain anyways
Chad
Great he decided to get rid of the beard. Hate the whole bald gotta have a beard look everyone looks the same. Harry needs to sort his. Never have i seen a man not suit a beard as much as him. He genuinely looks terrible with one. Yet he looks so good without it and bald.
