@@ZC.Andrew I mean the flip side is it can be very difficult to actually land a good disruptor shot - so this is the reward. Sucks when a big shot obliterates your army though 😂
@@CPeyser08 Yeah. I'm not at all saying it's OP or anything. They fire very slowly. If they damaged units more like tanks do, then they'd have to have a lower cooldown, but this would make them more like Reavers. Maybe it's fine the way it is. It's just insane to see 20 supply disappear in a single shot. Only a nuke can do that.

Nah that's like 90% of his personality as a player. The commentators are sparing him, really. You can see that he is hyperventilating, twitching, he cannot control his emotions nor his body. Byun is a bit like that but with Creator is it so painful to witness offline. He is very good as a player but with that lack of control.... keep in mind the other players are just now starting to even take him seriously and this is a part of why he is "good". I can only hope that he grows up a bit as a professional player.

@@bjorkode One of the best reasons to watch him. Almost everyone else is playing as if theyre dead. I do agree he should Rage a little less after games. Otherwise seeing him so animated is fantastic.
Maru makes pvt look impossible. He has Coll, storm, and disruptors and still can’t beat the Terran army. What’s the solution?
The only reason Maru can win this is because he is out-microing so much that the matchup that should be impossible from an A-move vs A-move situation has its tables turned by superior multi-prong battlefield control of nearly every single unit. In 99.99% of cases, any other person aside from Maru would get 1-sidedly cleaned up with those same armies clashing since that person would not be able to micro even a fraction as well.

Well, maru had lots of stuff too right? This would make sense if creator actually had the better army and loses. But with equal army, if maru has better micro, he should win.

Storm is very similar to EMP (less damage due to being DoT but can actually kill, plus Terran units are way frailer). Ideally you should make a big buffer of units to cover Disruptors so that an aggressive Terran can't just stim and rush down the Disruptors before their purification novas explode (if the Disruptors die before the explosion, the novas are cancelled out).
As such, you can actually play similarly to the Terran, but that means requiring similar micro control. Scatter around Storms to force bio balls away from your disruptors and put enough Stalkers in front of the Disruptors so that if the Terran tries to rush them down, they risk dying to the Stalkers before they can pull that off. The result is that the better player wins, since both armies are similarly powerful against one another and the result is determined by superior control.
However, again, this is fighting micro with micro. If you want a pokemon-style "lol i auto-win by bigger stats" A-move composition, then just be in SC2 Bronze league and A-move Skytoss comps. In pro leagues, that will never happen.

Use Disruptors to snipe tanks who can't avoid them. Then use Colls. You know...micro.
Usually macro more, learn terran timings and cut probes if necessary to build shield batteries. Also set up a flank of 5-10 zealots to kill tanks when the bio ball is engaging your main army
Interesting answers... I feel it all depends on the type of push. I was struggling the most when they hit fast - small army, 1-2 tanks, but stalkers don't do well. Turns out that fast blink or even skipping it and fast charge is the solution - at least on lower level.

Chargelot flank or prism counter attack is usually the way to go. Or learn some early pvt all-in builds so you can kill Terran before they push you.

Ghosts are definitely the problem. 1-2 shot any high resource army, high passive damage, complete counter to any other caster units, complete hard racial counter with the full shield depletion, they're one of the tankiest units in the terran army for some reason, and also for good measure need detection to engage. Zerg and protoss both need a unit that counters ghosts as easily as terrans can press r or e from max range.
