Oh nice! I'll keep those in mind when I get started on my next board! I just got finished with putting together an Original torpedo for my commuter board, so it'll be a while... but I'll definitely keep my eyes open!
I’ve been trying to find this video for years, just couldn’t remember the name for the life of me. For whatever reason, it popped right into my head at 2 am. Wish I could go back to these days
when i mean share is about getting people involved, here in spain the longboard comunity is growing crazyly fast, lots of people getting adicted, and thats good for the scene. i´ve met lots of skaters that all they needed to get into longboard whas just to try one hehe. that happened to me a few years ago!
I have a loaded tantien. Never in a million years would I take it down a hill like I do on a couple of my other boards, but I have a lot of freestyle fun on it, and it is still pretty good for some freeride.
I have purple inheats on my dervish, ive had them for about 2 or 3 months now and they slide perfect. i hit 180 pendys, colemans, ext, great wheel good choice.
depends on if you want more grip and what type of board you got. if you own a board that might experiance wheel bites get the 4prez. if you got like a derv or a vanny then go in heats. or look into some free ride wheels also by O'tang.
@jetlagsyndrome if you love it so much, why not sharing it? who cares who rides, you are still going to get the same feelings with it. skateboar is a well known sport, that doesnt mean that a lot of people practice it seriusly. Sorry for my english!
@marty1091 If you plan on downhilling, I would recommend the 4prez wheels. I have them and they are grippy when you need them, and they also slide consistently once they are broken in. I think that the lip on the inheats might make sliding more difficult, so go for the 4prezidents, or you could try the rounded stimulus wheels. If you are worried about the wheels sliding out, get them in an 80a durometer. Unless you want to go extremely fast, 70mm is enough wheel and a perfect diameter.
@marty1091 Yeah i was referring to the 4prez wheels, I currently have the 80a 4prez wheels and the 83a stimuluses. And you are right, the 4 prez are probably better in 83a, mine are a bit too grippy, but I can still do coleman and standup slides on them alright. For your purposes, I think the 83 4 prez wheels are a good choice. Enjoy them and happy riding!
@laidbacklongboarders They're meant for skating, whatever that may entail. People don't make special bearings for speed, they make bearings and we use them. Most "skate" bearings aren't even made for skating, they're made for machines and just put in packages that say "skate bearings" on them.
He's for sure riding the Aera precision trucks he designed and probably a 93a/90a venom barrel combo. Again: I'm not sure about the bushings, but I personally asked him about the trucks.
@laidbacklongboarders What do you think EVERY board is equipped with? Standard skateboard bearings. If his bearings blew, he probably didn't have spacers in.
wow.... such an amazing video.. loaded vids, never seem let me down. always makes my day just watching this.... and is it just me or does k-rimes look like michael cera? haha
@pingpongarmy88 I've found that many people have differing views over what that is. To me, it's to enjoy yourself. You die quickly, so do what you want to end have fun doing it... So long as it doesn't interfere with other people in a negative sense. For example: If you like longboarding, and enjoy longboarding in a way that you don't annoy/endanger others, you're doing it right.
is that in Arizona? the beautiful weather! omg! they were going so fast!!!! this video is sooo cool!! i was scared for their lives!!!! but i guess their experts, but wow!!!!! scary!!
@Extopeador The "correct" way is to just not bust a 70 km/h pendy right out of the box. They'll chunk like mad. Work slow at it, carve some big hills, focus on grip, make big sweeping carves. Riding on tile/brick might help too :P Your objective is to get a roughish feel, matte appearance to them, instead of smooth and shiny.
feel old now
yeah,, i'm watching this in 2016
@@송영훈-b9o im watching in 2024 fuck
Its really funny to see how far all these riders have come... lol back in the day when everyone did hand down slides...
The 81 people who disliked this need to get their butts on a longboard
feet*
Joshua Coker lol whatever. You know what I mean

This is incredibly sick. I have nothing but respect for Louis. He is my favorite! Loved it. Keep making sweeeet vids.

probably my favorite loaded video!
Oh nice! I'll keep those in mind when I get started on my next board! I just got finished with putting together an Original torpedo for my commuter board, so it'll be a while... but I'll definitely keep my eyes open!
i'm usually not a big fan of dh videos but this one was amazing. Superbly well done.
Most epic long board vid ever! 4 of the best riders in the world! (3 Canadian and 1 American)
gotta love adam c:s background laughs. Awesome riding/editing/filming/scenery
I’ve been trying to find this video for years, just couldn’t remember the name for the life of me. For whatever reason, it popped right into my head at 2 am. Wish I could go back to these days
Its crazy to see how the pavements changed. I skate this a few times a month since im a local and wish it could be half this smooth.
Those pre-drifts are INSANE!!!

Hope you have as much fun goin up as you did coming down...

....and now everyone besides Patrick ride for Sector 9 or Abec 11. Video is still one of my faves!
James Kelly is actually riding an old Loaded speedboard proto from 2009.
So there is a Loaded board in this video.
@lzochiodo10 Read the description. Louis is on a RBros Asym, James Kelly is on a Loaded speedboard prototype.
Still one of the most gnar skate videos even though its like 2 years old!
three years later. it is absolutley incredible how much longboarding has evolved as a sport.
14 years later
wish there were hills like this in Mass.
What a beautiful video and such beautiful riding too!
@jacobaaron18 As you can see this video came out 2009, these wheels are the prototype 4prez

I skated that hill today, Was epic fun
This loaded prototype has been prototyping for 3 years now!! please put it out :)
I'm guessing it was filmed on the eastern side of the SW part of the rockies, somewhere in the foothills.
Rayne Avenger...sweeeeet!!!!! Gotta get me some d'em 4Prez! Nice toeside predrifts -- sick!!!
The chest bump is so classic!
His own signature board : The Fullbag P-Swiss Elise!!! What a board!
@marty1091

i don't know how these guys can drift like that with orangatang in heats. i have them and wow, they are really grippy. hats off for these guys
Gotta love the classics
All longboard greats have started with loaded and otang.
@laidbacklongboarders They're meant for skating, whatever that may entail. People don't make special bearings for speed, they make bearings and we use them. Most "skate" bearings aren't even made for skating, they're made for machines and just put in packages that say "skate bearings" on them.
nice vid! good shots, and good riding! looks like fun territory.

He's for sure riding the Aera precision trucks he designed and probably a 93a/90a venom barrel combo.
Again: I'm not sure about the bushings, but I personally asked him about the trucks.

The video that got me into longboarding.
i know what you mean
i watch this over and over again
Did you guys FIND this joie de vivre on longboards, or is it what makes you board in the first place?
Valeu galera!!! vcs são os melhores!!!
@laidbacklongboarders What do you think EVERY board is equipped with? Standard skateboard bearings. If his bearings blew, he probably didn't have spacers in.

that was sick and longboarding should stay underground
they left that James Kelly kid out of the tags!
awesome vid!
That was so extreme!
@OfficialJakeCross sometimes, they'll have a car with a mounted camera on it follow them, other times it'll be just another boarder with a go pro.
great sliding skills !
I Got D'em Purps yesterday!
@pingpongarmy88 I've found that many people have differing views over what that is. To me, it's to enjoy yourself. You die quickly, so do what you want to end have fun doing it... So long as it doesn't interfere with other people in a negative sense.

@Extopeador

Massachusetts has some SICK gnarly downhill runs. You're looking in the wrong places and skate with the wrong people!
