I'm not on about the tank, healer, dps stuff. I'm on about teams only running warriors, guardians and mesmers. These classes are the best 3 in the pve scene and work perfectly together. Everything else is a lesser class and some people even exclude people playing these classes from their parties
I must have misread your post. To me, it sounded as if you said that warriors can only manage 3k+ damage on hundred blades. I was merely chipping in my two cents on my zerk build :)

yeah, it's sad =(. I personally play an engineer, and get so much stick for playing it. I can output as much, if not more dps than most classes yet other people don't seem to realise this.
It's pretty hard to match warrior output. For example, the entire 'burst' skill of my zerker Mes (sword 2) does approx. the same damage as a single auto-attack hit of my warrior's axe... *sigh*
no he says what he prefers to play to demonstrate what stats you should get on your gear, which happens to be a very famous combination of stats or 'zerker stats, but he doesn't say it's the only way..think, then speak
Though an old comment, seems you're the one getting things a bit backwards. Elementalists are overall far more versatile than other classes, with effectively 4 weapon sets at any time. To that, melee classes, with similar setups will always out-damage ranged classes, as their is a higher risk to reward, and shows up consistently in game, as such folks need to get to a target, then break combat to heal. Just saying basically "X class can do Y damage so there" is without context and moot.
Isaiah is one of those developers that got it all wrong when it comes to class understanding, tho I like to see him try. Say raw and 'and so' a little less, I'm annoyed. As for the dps debate: staff eles can do 5-6k autoattack crits and 8k meteor showers that if you're lucky will dramatically out dps a warrior and this goes to every other class as well. Warriors are just more versatile. It's a game issue that other classes are not viable in pve.
Dear Cartwright... Please tell the guys to rework rangers to be more enjoyable and capeable, then ask Colin Johanson to order craftable or directpaid (not RNG!!) armor & weapon set update. Thank you & Have Fun!
Why are you mentioning wvw and pvp? last I saw this was a pve video.... When you can kill lupi in 40 seconds and slave driver in like 8 seconds, it has it's uses.
4 minutes to talk about what each stat does... something you learn within 10-15 minutes of playing for the first time. I get that it is for new players, but maybe make it shorter and more interesting?

I'm glad you can. My ranger feels very underpowered! Then again I'm favouring Soldier gear, rather than Rampager.

I ended up using bow for the AOE and blind and snare, not so much the condition damage.

Please let us tune our stats better by giving as a chance to adjust them better on SPvP ..
So he is basically saying "play a 'zerker build!"
They should talk more about magic find. I dont really see any differense from having 120% magic find, or 0%.

5 sets on my ele, 2 on my ranger and 1 for the rest of my alts

Then explain why there is a big out cry from the community over the "trinity" team set ups? If it wasn't a problem, it wouldn't be happening.
