Always sad for me to see station wagons being crushed.. Those would have been the type of car I'd drive if I had the money.. I'd live in it too.. take out the back seats.. add in a small mattress and box spring.. portable toilet and stove and I could live anywhere..
I'm pretty sure that the Diplomat wagon was discontinued by 1986. I was alive back then, and I don't recall ever seeing one in the wild! @@elaineewalt8137
wow never knew the Diplomat had a wagon these vid's are a treasure trove of old forgotten cars. An that '74 K-5 blazer well Chief Brody will be sad that was his ride in Jaws
Ill never seen diplomat wagon before ill though it was mercury marquis wagon Look oh a dodge wow that rare remember seeing in 4 door police cars in the 80s half 90s sad look restorable
That Blazer was self-destructing before it could even get into the crusher! (Is it just me or are those new front-loading washers falling apart faster than top-loaders? 🤣) The Chevy C-20 may have been a '71 or '72 because the parking lights were in the bumper; earlier models had them in the grille
Looks like a LeBaron wagon with Plymouth Gran Fury grille, added afterwards. It was a rust bucket, sorry fans, too far along to "restore". No replacement sheet metal out there.
Not the Family Truckster! (Yeah, yeah; I know the Truckster was a Ford) That is the first Diplomat wagon I have ever seen, though. I think that Blazer just took over the top spot in our Rustball Rankings. It's fun to toss in a few appliances now and then, too. I wonder if somebody cut that old Chevy truck in half to make a trailer, or if it's @ss just plain rusted off. Good load, today.
@@LongIslandMopars Thats true. I had a 76 Plymouth Volare that had just over 186,000 on it when the transmission gave up. I gave it to a fellow Plymouth lover for parts to keep other Plymouths going. It was a great car!
Say goodbye to more old classics everybody! But that k5 blazer was begging to be destroyed!
Ahh come on little bondo some bailing wire good to go. Lol
Yeah, that blazer had the structural integrity of a wet noodle.
@@Tomcat115 ill say its integrity was that of a coat of paint.

Such aspiration from todays youth!

Wow! That Diplomat wagon is really rare. Didn't even know they made a wagon til I looked it up. Shame!
Yeah, I remember them. There were good spare parts and glass for someone on that car.

That was an 80 or 81
That K5 may have been the rustiest example in the world!
Those washing machines looked practically brand new,
Shame that nobody cares about classics anymore, today’s young people only care about the latest of technology.
The best no frills crushing channel, all crushing, all the time 1964corvan
Love these vids
That wagon was cool. I bet that car would of sold for more then just scrap price. Would be a awesome project.
I don't normally side with the dirby guys, but that wagon could have gone out in a blaze of glory.
That blazer could have been saved, looks like a great project vehicle.

A couple small patch panels and some bondo and that Blazer could of been saved, such a shame. 🤣😂🤣
IT IS FUNNY THAT THE WAGON IS REAL CAR
I would love to check out this yard
man it hurts seeing that diplomat wagon go, but it looks like it was already rusted to death

RIP family truckster
It's a Ford base not Mopar base
Extra crispy crush today!
I bet Arthur tussik could’ve fixed that blazer 😂
Creaky classics.
Se apreciaría mejor si pusieras una cámara fija 🙂👍👍
I had to search TH-cam to see what the 1977 Plymouth Arrow looked like. I'd never even heard of it before now!
Going to Google or TH-cam it also as never seen one or heard of it before either Lol
I had one, it was built by Mitsubishi. It was a pretty good car.
Wow!of all,the crusher channels, you get the most rusty stuff of all! What state are,you in?

A metal trash sandwich! Good job!
This is James Barrow this station wagon is destroyed
Good Lord why do these older than dirt cars stay in this yard so long? Don't you cycle inventory every 6 or 9 months?
great video. Best in crush class, chevy blazer, pontiac grand am. Both junk to begin with. Pounce on that like folks!!
Yeah but that wagon had rare parts.
