Will pulse watering work for your flower garden/flower farm? What is pulse watering. It is what it sounds like, you water is short bursts every day instead of the deep watering like we have all been taught. We discovered this pulse watering system through listening to the No-Till Flowers podcast with Jennie Love. You really need to give this podcast a listen because she goes into the details and Jennie gives all the reasons why pulse watering works.

The podcast helps to explain it really well. Hopefully this video helps to demonstrate how to implement the process. It really has changed how we water. It has been so helpful for the flowers and crazy that it uses less water! This is the reason we wanted to share this process

@@heritagecreationscutflowers I’m trialing the concept with sprinklers. Each area gets 20 min and we’ll see how many days between and if I can reduce the time. Thanks again and happy Fourth of July

This is not pulse watering, it’s intermittent watering. Pulse watering is a drop every few seconds so water has time to be absorbed by the soil slowly. Be able to control that is a challenge.
