    Yes I'm a sinner but jesus says I'm adopted. Not by flesh but by his spirit. 🙏🏼 👍🏽

    David, Thank you. This cleared up many misunderstandings I have had about 1 John 1:9. Before I understood Grace, I was paranoid if I didn't confess every time before I prayed. I thought I couldn't boldly approach the throne of Grace until I asked for forgiveness so Jesus could clothe me with the white robe of righteousness. No! Understanding Jesus' righteousness being imputed to me and finally realizing it's not my goal to tame my flesh every day - that helped set me free and love Jesus. Growing up, I was taught and very heavily encouraged to have self-discipline and an exemplary work ethic. Be responsible. Follow the rules. Knowing Jesus took all the burdens and hard work upon Himself for me is such a relief! Cuz I got really tired from all that work, burden, condemnation, and fear when I was under the law.

      Stoltzfus isn't a common name. Do you know of a Stoltzfus family that attended Corn Bible Academy? The boys dorm parents were the Stoltzfus.

      @@agrotta1650 Stoltzfus is an Amish name. My father in law was Amish until he heard the Gospel of grace at a tent meeting. He then left the Amish community for many years. His story is fascinating.
      In Lancaster County, PA, I think Stoltzfus and Martin are the most prevalent Amish last names.
      I don't personally know those particular Stoltzfuses you are referring to, but I'm sure there is an interesting background story!

      @@danielrutigliano7938 I actually grew up in the Christian and Missionary Alliance church. They taught grace, but there were Sunday school teachers who were legalists, so I was receiving mixed messages. Same with the Baptist churches and Evangelical-Free churches we attended. But the "cult" we joined was Bill Gothard's ATI program which was touted as the "Cadillac" model of Home Schooling. It has taken a while to deprogram from that indoctrination which put my husband and I, along with all 4 of our daughters, in bondage. All works, no grace. We have all since broken free from the law and my youngest daughter (age 25) believed on Jesus 2 months ago! We are free now and have enjoyed our Savior, falling in love with Him more each day!

    Before I understood this and thought I had to confess individual sins and do works, I was so zealous that I literally hijacked a ladies cart at the store to help her unload her groceries. I was thinking about what rewards I was going to get.

    My ignorant conclusion is...
    There is a false doctrine matched with each individual sin.
    & to describe the doctrine of sin in singular form:: heresy(Galatians 5)
    Hope that made sense lol.
    Great reminder bro. Im excited for the car ride videos again 😁. The background road sounds are sooo soothing to me

    I haven't ever seen this verse in this context before.
    Mmmmm!
    I will look at this further David.
    It is true that I no longer languish and wallow in condemnation for days and weeks on end.
    This perspective of security and constant cleansing brings me confidently to the feet of Jesus very quickly now.
    So this verse does make better sense within this new perspective of being accepted based completely on the finished work of Christ.
    This is Faith.
    Being able to fully acknowledge these eternal absolutes.
    To confess what is actual for us, now, In Christ and what He has done.
    Blessings and kindest regards David from Australia

      I was raised catholic. I never told my sins except in general terms like “ I lied “ to the priest. The nuns were mean at school. One had taken a vow of silence and would only shh! With her finger to her mouth.
      It’s all pagan idol worship and keeps sacrificing Jesus over and over again. Or what they tell us is Jesus but is a mockery. Sad!

    I hope you do revisit this , a lot of people are confused about this including myself , every morning I start off confessing my sins I ask to have my conscience sprinkled in the blood , I'm not asking for forgiveness I'm already forgiven , im not pleading the blood in the sense of I don't think I'm already covered because I am , only in the sense of getting the guilties off of me and applying it to my conscience through faith of what's already done by the daily washing and renewing of my mind kinda sense so that I can enjoy fellowship with him . I understand that people religiously and unbiblicaly plead the blood on everything under the sun , their cats , their house , their jobs lol no just my conscience , pleading is the wrong word though , I understand that now , it's more like "applying" the blood through faith cause like what Gregg said pleading is a legalistic term used in court , I've already been justified I am already sanctified , so I've recently stopped using the term "plead" and think of it as apply . I actually do feel washed and renewed when I simply confess my sins of omission and commission through faith in the Blood . Then I simply thank him for being faithful and just to cleanse me from all unrighteousness and move on to simply enjoying Christ for the day and then thank and acknowledge and enjoy what hes already done for me. Then I usually preach the gospel to myself and then just talk with God/Jesus about everything really 😆 . I hope that made sense I'm reading over my comment and don't feel I adequately articulated what it is I'm trying to express , I guess my conscience is clear on the end result of my eventual fellowship and never really sought to question it much until recently lol 🤣😁. I'm hoping you do talk more about this because I've read the comments on several brothers and sisters channels recently and I know I'm not alone in this . Simply put Brother what is it exactly and practically do you do or say or believe or have faith in every day to get back into fellowship with God yourself after you've sinned ? Thanks David

    • @davidbenjamininchrist
      @davidbenjamininchrist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The part of that process that is giving you the sense of cleansing is believing in the blood. It's okay that you do these things. But some people feel like there is a debt they still owe or they can't have fellowship with God. Believing in the blood and dtawing near cleanses us

    David Im glad I saw your video because I needed to hear this. This has been a worrisome for me.
    I listened to your last few min a few times and I think I understood but could you confirm with me.
    **Do you mean when we sin and we feel bad about it we should come to Jesus in prayer acknowledging to him that we realized we have sinned and feel bad about it but were thankfull that he has already paid for all are sins.
    Thanks

    • @davidbenjamininchrist
      @davidbenjamininchrist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      We don't even need to tell him we feel bad about it. We can if it Comforts us but that's not part of the equation and he doesn't need it. What brings us into the fellowship is faith. It is the exercise in faith in his blood that gives us the sense of peace

    • @thehealth22

      It's like if you read one of the Psalms in the Bible,you see thr pattern of the writer(mainly David) speak out of distress.
      Then in the same Psalm a few verses down, David will start to realize that no matter what he did or what is happening around him..he knows he can trust in God to deliver him. When David realizes God is his strength..it brings praise and peace.
      Hope this helped

      @@davidbenjamininchrist Yes I believe on what Christ Jesus did on the cross.
      He was a blood sacrifice for all of us and he paid ALL our sins ( past/present & future).
      It is by his Grace through our faith that we are saved and forgiven.

    Thank you as you teach us the WORD. Do you have any logical explanation why so many with dreams and visions prophesized, along with w Jesus in Revelations talking much about repentance and sin threatening outer darkness and a removed candlestick? Many use the 10 virgins to teach partial raptures in their dreams of being left behind while believing not walking close to the LORD got left. Share your thoughts, it's Jesus and HIM alone God work who could add. HE will appear to those who are looking for HIM.

    • @davidbenjamininchrist
      @davidbenjamininchrist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The dreams and Visions are false from a spirit of Jezebel. The churches in Revelation are a mix of Believers and unbelievers. Listen to my Revelation playlist I did the letters to the seven churches and covered this pretty thoroughly

    My dear brother, please correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I have understood 1 John ch1 is that John is speaking to the Gnostics of the day and using the proverbial "we" when he's speaking. It looks like he didn't address the believers until ch2 where he gives the greeting to his children. That is the way I read it. I'm not sure but pray about it and please let me know if I'm wrong. Thank you for all you do. I love you dear brother in Jesus our Lord!😊💗🙏🙌
