One thing I've noticed about Joe is that he will always stay in the artist's range, but he will never upstage them even when he can. He's always respectful of those on stage which is why so many people invite him on stage with them.

Kingfish is smoking here! Followed since i saw him on youtube playing some little blues bars, filmed on phones. Hell, i even asked planet rock in the uk to play him first, and they still do to this day! Saw him at hyde park with the stones, got all his lp's. Hes the real deal, sent from the gods of the blues 💙
Yes!!! KINGFISH!!! 🙌🏽💯. I love when two great musicians meet. Joe is twice the age of Kingfish I believe. Kingfisha has been paying dues like crazy. He definitely deserves everything he has coming to him.
I saw Kingfish at a bar on Frenchman street about 6 years ago - just a bar, playing with a band, making squat but just tearing it up. At first I just thought "That there is one big old feller" but that just disappeared when he started playing. Dude can bring it and yes - he has payed some dues.
Yeah... I'm not insinuating he's hendrix or srv, but I wished joe wouldn't get so much hate... people fawn over John Mayer, Joe's really good at what he does too.

Serious respect for Joe for his self restraint here, his tone is so authentic, clear and low gain but you can tell around 3:45 that he's about to go full Eric Johnson but makes the call to be more conversational with Kingfish and follow his lead which brings out Ingram's chops like crazy! 10/10 jam, so much love for modern blues carrying on such a great tradition of improv and pretentiousness. I feel like Joe and Kingfish just keep getting better and better!!
Watching Christine and Joe talk guitar licks after 2:30, their expressions, listening to their back and forth…the incredible expressiveness of music in connecting people without a rigged script: this is why we enjoy a great live show. Incredible!
Thank you Mr. Kingfish for a great show video playing with all your great musicians band and inviting another well respected guitarist Joe Bonamassa. I enjoyed listening to you and Joe I can’t thank you enough. Jerry D. From Massachusetts.
Finally these two get together. I love how the trade offs between JB and Kingfish progressed. Joe is a really good listener of other musician and adapts, incorporating ideas.
