Back around 1998 I used to go see Jojo and Nerve do a residency at a club called Izzy Bar in NYC. I went every week for an entire summer and it was incredible every time. Once or twice when Jojo wasn’t there, Zach Danziger would be on drums. The whole experience was pretty incredible. Glad this project is still making great music.
Jojo and Zach Danziger are two of my favorite drummers, hands down. Zach's MIDI setup is so ingenious and forward thinking. I moved to Las Vegas from Manhattan in 1996, just my luck they would come to prominence after I left.
New music never gets old. What a great performance. This is next level.

The hi hat control on this is mind blowing. Also nice to hear Jojo play some swingy stuff in his new musical context
Amazing! JoJo is just so inspirational to me as a drummer. One thing I love about Nerve is that the bassist looks like a Computer Sciences teacher who has a band on the side in his spare time...
They really do look like three people from completely different walks of life don't they lol
It was such a good groove and a delicate sound of the ride cymbal at the end. Well, one of my favorites now.

i watched them live in 2014 in chengdu city china in a small livehouse and being next to the sub about 2 meters away from the drum was trully magical.

Good to see Aaron in there as part of the band! Seen him in some of the live shows as what I initially thought was a good sound guy but very quickly realized he was doing so much more that's essential to the sound of Nerve. Looking forward to more of these!

Absolutely killer! Am I the only one who wishes occasionally that he take the muffler off the snare drum for a less constricted sound? He should actually let it explode at times imho. But incredible. Just so good.
Agreed….there are sections where I wish that the snare could breathe and resonate a bit more too….just comes down to personal choices….once again I am just glad to see the master at work…
