Thanks so much for sharing her story The Dodo. Her full story over on my TH-cam! We have gone on such an awesome journey together and now I can't wait to see who her forever family will be! Who else thinks she is one of the cutest dogs out there? 😍🐶
I hear ya. They have such a unique bond. But, at least this guy was there for her and helped her become acclimated to people. Hopefully, her new family will spend some time at this guy's house with Blossom so that the transition is as easy as possible.
Thank goodness there are people like this guy about. I had a young stray from a dog's home once, when I let him out in the yard for a run around, he would go and hide behind the shed, after a week to ten days I noticed there wasn't any "dog poop" at all, anywhere! I put my surveillance camera on the yard and found out that he was eating his own poop, God knows what punishment he got in the past for pooping in the garden, thankfully, he soon adjusted.
Every Dodo video starts off with me hating the world and want to jump into traffic. The end of the video I want to adopt every single animal on the planet.
SAVAGE308SNIPER no he doesn’t, ever hear of using different words, it means that he’s sad or mad at the beginning because of the animals being sad and then he’s happy because the animals are happy. Don’t overreact dumbass

They do...it is easy to feel overwhelmed by all the bad news we see, but like Mr. Rogers said "look for the helpers." There are amazing, humble people all over the world doing things in their commu ities to make things a little bit better. They don't get awards or news stories or have youtube channels; they just go about their business saving abused animals, or working with disabled folks or feeding the hungry or whatever other need they can identify.
Yeah man what a great guy he is, also such a lovely little dog. I get so angry when I hear them been abused any animals its so damn cruel and unnecessary, makes my skin crawl.
@@ianbentley7276 yeah so true matey sure we can't even be nice to each other nvm animals. It really gets to Mr seeing animals abused cos their defenceless like hitting a baby in my eyes.! Good on you friend I have a rescue dog myself which like dog in video was badly abused and took months to trust us and act like a regular dog ;( now though he runs the house and can be quite cheeky which is fantastic to see considering his history. I'm thinking about looking into helping at a rescue center or helping abused animals in some way. I help a little right now but I could always do more.
I adopted one just like her but he took longer to adjust. He did not even know what a doggie treat was. We name him Orbit because he was so spacy. Finally he was also copying the other dogs. It was a long journey for him. It took months. It is so sad who treated him with such abuse. He stayed with us and we gave him all of our love and he finally died at an old age and we have all of our dogs cremated. We still miss him. But now he is in dog heaven with all of my others dogs. Bless you.
Rescued dogs always make the best companions for life, my wife and I are now on our 3rd. Rescues always try harder to win you over because they have already been dumped on before you came to save them and thank goodness they still learn to trust again! Last year was a bad year for us, we lost our 1st baby (Sparkplug) who was the coolest Rattie you would know. Long story short .... he was less than a year old and had separation anxiety & took people Prozac all his life. He had it so bad that whoever came home first from work had to clean his crate and give him a bath because the poor guy was covered in his own feces because of it. He was the cleanest dog always getting daily baths, lol. After almost a year we decided he needed a buddy so we started taking him on meet & greets and it took 6 or 7 dogs til he found love so we adopted Trixie, a pittie/fox terrier mix we were told. Between her and his meds, he was a new boy so both had free roam of the house with no worries. Sparkplug and Trixie were like 2 peas in a pod their whole time together. They both were dog celebrities the one year actually making the cover of the Humane Society's calendar. then he developed diabetes in his senior years (wife gave him 2 shots a day) and then cancer on top of that. It killed us to do it and he was so bad towards the end we had to have a girl come here to ease his pain & suffering for good. That was the hardest thing to do and I cried like a baby watching my 1st little buddy I ever had slip away in front of me. Here's what triggered this story that was supposed to be short ..... Trixie was like Blossom (very skittish) when we first got her, but not quite as bad. Once we earned her trust she turned out to be the sweetest girl and I was her "person". The reason August of 2018 was so bad for me was 2 weeks after losing Sparkplug to cancer, I lost my Dad the same way. Trixie was my little sweetie-pie and she LOVED to lay in bed with me. I'll never forget that night after hearing the news about my Dad. I was laying in bed with my back to her balling about my Dad. She walked all the way down around my feet and up around the front of me almost falling off the bed to give me a hug ..... not just any hug either, she tried burying herself into me while I held her! She went from being a skittish little puppy to the most loving, affectionate girl I ever knew. Now here I am 3 weeks today, after her passing to kidney disease and she's no longer here to give me that hug .... man, I miss her so much. We did all we could for her, having a couple come to the house and give her fluids 4 times a week for 6 months. Our vet was surprised she lasted almost 2 years with kidney disease. It happened that night we got that last storm and she LOVED the snow. I took her out for (I never knew) her last romp in the snow, dried her off, carried her to the couch and took Homer out. Homer is our 3rd rescue we've had for a little over a year now, a spotted beauty (Coon hound, Pointer mix) all white with black mask and spotted like a Dalmatian with one black "pirate" leg. He is just awesome and also what kept Trixie going longer we think. I brought him back in, dried him off and was washing my hands when the wife called me over to the couch about Trixie. It looked like she was having a seizure or something, I was petting her like mad, gave her a hug and she went in my arms that quick .... almost like she was waiting to see me one more time before she went. I was never so heartbroken in my life, so the vicious cycle never ends .... Here we are again looking for rescue #4 now because Homer seems down in the dumps too. Moral of this novel if you read it ...... We love our dogs, their passing is always rough, but a little pain for all the loyal years of joy they give is worth it. I keep telling the wife "never again" again and again, but I know it's a lie.
Poor little dog. She must have really experienced some bad trauma. Thanks for being so patient with her and helping her. It’s lovely to see her progress!❤️
It's just like what happened to my dog, Molly. She was a golden retriever but was scared of everything. My dad adopted her bc we felt bad but she was very loving. So would grab my food out of my hand and eat it for herself 😂 But Molly is like blossom. Like I said, she would be scared if I get up then she would run under the table and stay there :( After a few weeks, my dad said she wouldn't adjust and we should send her back to the adoption center (ASPCA) :( My family be was very sad. I still have her doggy bowls. I'm sorry for the long paragraph ;-;
Rescued a dog that stayed in our bathtub with that crazy shaking. Broke my heart. Thankfully that only lasted about a week. All the sudden one evening she jumped up on my son on the couch and laid down with him. She still made mad dashes to the tub when she felt overwhelmed, but that subsided. She's still a very nervous and quite frankly, odd girl....but she's happy. Not to mention that she claimed my son as her person. Good choice! :)
Every time I see something like this I immediately go to my dog, pick him up, and hug him for like 3 min straight. Then he gets cheese. Cuz he’s a good boy.
@@panteleykolodii no so long as it’s in moderation and not a spicy cheese with a lot of extra ingredients. The only problem is cheese can cause your dog to gain weight if you give them too much. I give my shih tzu a tiny bit of cheese as a rare treat sometimes because he loves it and I love him :)
we humans were given our intelligence to be the gaurdians of the planet and the ward of all that live on it including little doggies, when I see someone doing this work I see as doing what we were meant for... of course not all of us have this purpose but I do see it as the outline of why were given our capabilities! that's why I am happy for farms and wildlife reserves existing it means at least humans are at least fulfilling that purpose if they didn't exist it would mean we would be straying from that purpose and I wouldn't see any point in us as we'd just be a waste thankfully that isn't the case I just wish everybody could see that!
It's like in that moment she suddenly stopped and realised, "hang on... This place is safe... These other dogs are happy... This human won't hurt me... In fact, he is protecting me, feeding me, CARING for me... This place is great! I'm actually allowed to be HAPPY, I'm so HAPPY!"
Dogs are pretty resilient. Once they learn that people are okay, they will accept the next owner with no problem. They just need good care and that lurve!!! 😻😻😻
@Rache; Meatte sorry, are you making some stupid point about people who eat meat being cruel? Or are you just saying that the companies which farm the animals are cruel. (if it's the latter, i agree)
@@onetwothreefourfive12345 People pay for the meat, in basic economics its known that the market operates by supply and demand. For example if a grip of people start buying avocadoes the demand will go up and so will the supply the same would happen if people stop buying it just that in reverse. Therefore its logical and common knowledge that if you commonly pay for meat you are paying the next to be bred into hell to be killed, therefore its ridiculous to try and say "Woah woah woah, rhe industry kills them not me" while you literatly pay for this to continue, i could say the same if i bought sex slaves, why u lookin at me man, i didn't catch them, i merely bought them, the dealers where the ones responsible. So we can easily say, if a person claims their position is they love animals but cause the unnecessary suffering of other animals they hold a hipocritical stance which merely lets it clear they hold cognitive dissonance and live with double standards. No, people are the wheels that keep meat agriculture going don't call the fruit from the tree you planted cruel, its a big fat fallacy.
FBI agent no one who buys meat is cruel for doing it though... They just want to have a meal. Unfortunately, there are very few more ethical meat producers to buy from

If you could keep Blossom that would be better for her. She has bonded with you and came out of her shell. If it took 3 months may take longer in a new home. Don't know how you could let her go after all you went thru together. She is a little darling
Mrrreell S2 it is kind of a sad reality that comes with what good people like him do. They keep saving these dogs and then find them homes. Sadly he has probably rescued several blossoms. By finding her a loving forever home that gives him the ability to take in another dog and readjust them to people. In a normal dog shelter they won’t get that same healing
His job is to do this for many many dogs just like her. Just imagine, there are countless dogs out there feeling the same way. His value is in getting each dog to a better place. Not holding onto just three dogs, but helping as many as possible.
She is very happy with her forever family. Rocky spent a long time finding her the perfect people! He would have loved to keep her - the same as every dog he saves. Unfortunately, he needs to find them homes so he can carry on saving precious babies like blossom ❤
God bless you for every single thing you did for these dogs you gave them food and water you gave them a home you gave them happyness and you gave them hope but most importantly you gave them love
It hurts to think that something (or someone) broke her little spirit so badly that she became like that. Thank you for giving her back the good life that she should have had in the first place.
The video states that she was from a hoarding situation and was taken to a shelter along with 150 other dogs. If there was 150 dogs in one house then they were probably constantly fighting so it's probably other dogs that traumatized her.
I really hope he considers keeping her permanently, I would hate to see how devastated she would be to leave an environment she finally feels safe in and have to start from scratch again.
Yeah, I was just thinking that. Maybe the person who wants to adopt her can come in and start doing things with her like feeding, playing and walking her to make the transition better.
Some days, I absolutely despise my fellow humans & what they do to innocent animals. But then my faith is restored when I see videos such as this. ...Thank you for helping Blossom and all the other vulnerable, sentient fur babes.
mine too. she was in a room having puppies for 3 years, never rode in a car, never around other animals, rarely got outside. she rolled on her belly and peed herself when i met her- which was at the house she had lived her whole life. she wagged her tail down between her legs for a long time after i got her, was afraid of ~everything~, had one expression: distrust. i've had her 3 1/2 years now, and she has blossomed in slow-mo. for the longest, she shied away from being touched much, she was so NOT used to it. only a couple months ago, she came to lay next to me on her own and i teared up i was so happy. before, when i got her next to me, she would get weirded out after a few minutes and have to leave. she's like benjamin button, getting more and more puppy-like over time.

Most rescues aren't sure or confident that their current situation will last. So she finally felt comfortable with her surroundings to let loose
Bless you.
What a sad story 😢
She's in the better place now
He was so lucky to come across someone like you

People like you are the best! God bless you!

It's just like what happened to my dog, Molly. She was a golden retriever but was scared of everything. My dad adopted her bc we felt bad but she was very loving. So would grab my food out of my hand and eat it for herself 😂 But Molly is like blossom. Like I said, she would be scared if I get up then she would run under the table and stay there :( After a few weeks, my dad said she wouldn't adjust and we should send her back to the adoption center (ASPCA) :( My family be was very sad. I still have her doggy bowls. I'm sorry for the long paragraph ;-;

Mrrreell S2 I was thinking the exact same thing. Why give her up for adoption when she already has a home!!?
Mrrreell S2 it is kind of a sad reality that comes with what good people like him do. They keep saving these dogs and then find them homes. Sadly he has probably rescued several blossoms. By finding her a loving forever home that gives him the ability to take in another dog and readjust them to people. In a normal dog shelter they won’t get that same healing
His job is to do this for many many dogs just like her. Just imagine, there are countless dogs out there feeling the same way. His value is in getting each dog to a better place. Not holding onto just three dogs, but helping as many as possible.

mine too. she was in a room having puppies for 3 years, never rode in a car, never around other animals, rarely got outside. she rolled on her belly and peed herself when i met her- which was at the house she had lived her whole life. she wagged her tail down between her legs for a long time after i got her, was afraid of ~everything~, had one expression: distrust.
i've had her 3 1/2 years now, and she has blossomed in slow-mo. for the longest, she shied away from being touched much, she was so NOT used to it. only a couple months ago, she came to lay next to me on her own and i teared up i was so happy. before, when i got her next to me, she would get weirded out after a few minutes and have to leave.
