- Kate Middleton and Prince William are gearing up for a glitzy red carpet appearance. The couple are set to attend the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards on Feb. 19, Kensington Palace confirms.

The Princess of Wales. No first name!! She will not use her first name - Catherine - not Kate! - until she is The Queen. Even then she will be addressed as HM The Queen, although it would be correct to address her as HM Queen Catherine.

That is such good news! I was wondering when she would finally be called "Princess or Her Royal Highness "! She has deserved that title for a very long time! Just because all of the games with Prince Harry and Megan have played, all eyes have been on them and the games that they were playing and their constant need for attention! They claim that we the public only know her as Kate Middleton even though millions of us watched her get married.Thank you for your interest.

Kathleen, from the time Catherine married Prince William she was no longer a Middleton. I did some research on why the press and the many publications still referred to her as Middleton. It turns out that they felt the public would only know her as Kate Middleton even though millions of us watched Catherine marry Prince William now after many years of marriage and three children they still feel we’re not bright enough to put two and to together and insist on calling her by her maiden name. They actually have insisted that Catherine likes to be called Kate Middleton. I wonder how her children felt about that and her children’s friend’s. Think about that

It makes no sense that they will call Prince Harry and Megan as the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex, but they can't call Prince William and Cate Middleton Prince William and Princess Cate! When Prince Charles aka King Charles 🤴 now, married Lady Diana Spencer aka Princess Diana 👸, I never heard anyone say that she can't be known as HRH Princess Diana up until they became divorced!
