Recycling a DOOR into a GUITAR - My CRAZY DIY Project

In this new video I am going to create a premium guitar with recycled material, a pine entrance door and some ebony. It's going to be a Gibson Les Paul Style guitar.
In this video you can see the entire process of building the guitar, handcrafted from start to finish, with very detailed shots in a ASMR style

It's the little details like the head of that guitar with a scroll top - I have no idea what it's really called and the stripe positioned perfectly in the middle. This attention to detail is so indicative of your work, it's not shouty but the signs of a true craftsman. Thank you so much for sharing your art with us.

NICE! I love to recycle/upcycle wood. Many years ago I saw an old butcher block table a local meat market tossed out because it was worn and they could not use wood butcher tables anymore because they were not considered sanitary. I tossed it in the back of the truck and cut it up. Got three guitars out of it and I still have a blank sitting around. The came out pretty good but were really heavy because it was Oak. One of these days I'll find the time to use the last piece for a build.

А в чем "отличный" или по каким параметрам? Отличный от хорошего, то да, а так клеенка да еще и сосна... Нафига портить дверь, если можно легко и без проблем купить разных классных сортов дерева всего лишь на одну гитару.
Лучшая дека - это цельная. И вообще можно купить меньше чем за 200$ LesPaul из красного дерева и дека цельная будет, например "CORT CRS100" и заниматься модингом, если интересно. Я вот так и поступил: модернизировал всю электронику, добавил пьезодатчики, преамп и получил реально чисто и натурально звучащий инструмент с набором разных тембров и расширенным дипазоном верхних частот, чего не хватает у всех LesPaul.

Este fue el primer video que vi. Me asombró que fuese posible convertir una puerta en guitarra, pero más me asombró la minuciosidad con la que trabaja Noe, la paciencia con la que cuida cada detalle, el pulso que tiene para manejar cada herramienta y lo bien que hace todo: desde la guitarra hasta la edición del video; eso de poner subtítulos también tiene su trabajo. Es todo un mundo esta labor, disfruto ver todo lo que hace además de tallar la madera y decorarla, el tema de la electrónica y hasta los altavoces. Cierta vez después de ver un video me entusiasmé tanto que intenté cambiar la electrónica de mi guitarra... tuve que mandarla a reparar después de meterle mano... Jeje. El talento que tiene Noe no lo tenemos todos, porque es algo que se cultiva con los años y con mucha dedicación. Felicidades, sigue compartiéndonos tu trabajo porque eres excelente!

Tip: you can use the curved side of the router on fences without deviation as it's a constant radius. less friction. be interesting to know how stable a softwood neck remains.
