As someone who been a kpop Stan for over 10 years..All I’m going to say is XG is a rare group..I freakin luv this group❤

XG's Cypher on my IG feed is what initially got my attention, but then when I got into the rabbit hole the VOX series is what sold me that this group was special. Just think about that for a second, XG drops the a rap cypher unlike anything seen from a kpop/jpop girl group, BUT THEIR VOCAL LINEUP IS THIS STRONG TOO?? That's just unfair. The amazing thing is all 3 vocalists have such different strengths. Chisa's vocals hit you with that pop/jazz vibe. Juria's vocals hit you with that airy soul vibe. And they both compliment each other so well! Then you'd think Hinata's the weakest, then she sounds LIKE THIS?!?! Hinata's vocals is just so warm and welcoming.
Truly amazing. XG gonna do big things for sure.
Juria's cover always give me chills, her voice is gorgeous!
The second song is Nobody Love by Tori Kelly. And the reason Chisa's voice could have sounded louder is because she sang this live in one take and the track was a little louder than her mic but she killed it still.
Yup chisa and juria did one takes and yes the instrumental for chisa was too loud.
The other 4 girls mainly rap, so you've already seen them do their thing.
By now, you probably know how all 7 girls can sing dance and rap. They're literally the full package!

It's Peaches by Justin Bieber, but i much prefer the girls version
#1 is Justin Bieber #2 Tori Kelly #3 IU #4 SOLE are the original singers. In addition, please check the English translation of Dear Name sung by Juria. It’s just a story that has been talked about on the net so not sure about the credibility but there seem to be some background stories to the song. It is said that this song was inspired by a tragedy, the sinking of the MV Sewol, in which 306 people died including around 250 students.
The other story is that IU's friend has taken her own life and written to her friend. After you read the English translation and think of the story behind the song and see the music clip again, you will be more moved by her voice.
Yessss I’ve been so excited for this reaction. All the girls are phenomenal singers. Initially I was in love with Chisa’s performance as I adore Tori Kelly and her version of that song. However, Juria’s cover was beyond what I expected and is easily my favorite out of all the covers. And then there’s Hinata… it took me a few listens to truly appreciate her voice in its totality. Her tone is amazing and completely unexpected. I hope they showcase her voice more often in their songs as her confidence grows!!

Tori Kelly is a vocal beast. Not many is touching her vocal prowess but Chisa did that song justice. It's an incredibly hard song but she sounded so good. I liked her already but still I really wasn't anticipating her to be that good.

This group is such a powerhouse in every way, it still amazes me how stupid good they are at absolutely everything.
Juria and Chisa made me love the song PEACHES. lol Love their cover of the song so much.
In terms of technique, Chisa is the best.
In terms of personal tonal preference, Juria.

I've listen to kpop since 2nd gen, XG is the only group that I Stan after BTS. Not only they all freaking telanted but their relationship to each member is beautiful, they don't look like rookies. They have this natural chemistry and they know each other very well but also respect each other too. It's because of their 5 years training period together as a group, they must be experience hardship together and it shows. Plus their love for music especially rnb hip-hop, rap, singing and dance really shows. They love what they're doing

@@stanpurplekiss8437 I know right? For me it's their chemistry, good at rap, 90's hip hop concept/dance, and their love for music! That's why they feel familiar to bts. They remind me a lot of BTS in the early days. But I love XG as XG. and BTS as BTS

Hey! So about what you said where you wouldn't be surprised if they are choosing their own songs to cover to, their executive producer, PD Simon, did confirm on an Instagram Live that all the songs they chose for VOX were picked by the members themselves! =)
Chisa❤ the charisma is unreal. And her vocal tone is absolutely amazing. One of my favorite vocalists in the game.
Their Peaches cover is what made me a predebut Juria stan (and she's still my bias lol).
And it's Peaches by Justin Bieber
The move #4 behind the scenes with Aiki, the choreographer, is also epic. I think you'd love it.

Awesome, yes they did! CLC and Dreamcatcher have been my ults for along time, and with CLC not making any content, it is nice to have another group that i love.
@@calvinmitchell1274 I love Dreamcatcher too, I got to see them in Chicago in December 2019. I had vvip tickets so I got to meet 6 of them after the show. Handong wasn't there, she was in China recording a tv show.

Thats cool, sucks Handong wasn't there. During that time, was still living in Alaska. Just recently moved to the lower 48.
Am not a 'concert' goer at all, but I have actually thought about how it would be to go to a Dreamcatcher concert or CLC concert. And now if XG keeps going the way they are, it would be even fun to go to their concert as well. (If they ever have one here close.)
