People are wondering what Chisa is shouting at the beginning of the video. She is recreating a scene from the 1995 Japanese film Love Letter. A woman visits the mountain where her fiance died in an avalanche. She is shouting to him 'How are you? I'm doing good!' in Japanese.

I just finished watching Love Letter. What a beautiful movie. Funny and well shot. I now have a deeper understanding of Winter Without You. About loss and healing through communication and reflection. XG gave me two presents this year.

@@MyawMyaw01 If I remember correctly, Chisa I believe said she wanted to touch that genre and incorporate it into their music. Hopefully we get a rock track! The vocal line would absolutely kill it. Prolly one of the only big types of music they are missing now

The Teaser for the MV does play a significant role to this MV. Although the song feels more like a longing feeling for a lover. The MV suggests differently with their connection to each other as family. The Teaser shows them being surprised by their loved ones and it makes the song and MV hit so much harder.
I am glad they didn't show the parents in the actual MV. Some things you need to keep private.
The part that Jurin got emotional is in the teaser. They are talking to their parents on a video call

No one does it like XG they are just simply amazing. What girl group on the planet is doing what XG is doing at the level they are doing it? No one. Period. They literally can do anything & everything. Elite rapline, elite vocalists, elite dance crew. This group of 7 young women of XG are IT. This is such old skool R&B 90s/early 2000s perfection. The entire world seriously needs to wake up on XG. People sleepwalking on them are really missing out big time. This is currently #1 on the U.S. iTunes R&B chart as it should be.

Chisa's intro scene is a remake of the scene from the japanese movie - Love Letter. She said "Ogenki desu ka? Watashiwa genki desu!!!" - (How are you???? I am fine!!!!). Now rewatch the scene with that in your mind then pause, contemplate on the lyrics of the song. If that doesn't make you tear up, I don't know what will. Thank you for supporting #XG.
The scene in the trailer where they talk to their families is such a call back to their pre-debut video call with their respective families where each member were sharing their anxiety over debuting and their families showing their full support. Makes you wish you could hear how much their families miss them and are so proud of them.

Chisa cry in Japanese "OGENKIDESUKA? WATASHIWA GENKIDESU ". It`s mean "How are you? I am fine. " This is a line from a famous Japanese movie.
The teaser kinda explains that scene, it seems like her parents (or family members) showing up in the screen to talk to them (we only see their reaction, as the MV also shows, and hear the family voices calling them). Probably it was a surprise for them (cause of their reactions being shocked and eyes filled with tears), I'm waiting for the BTS of this MV to explain how was this beautiful and touching part

For me I’ve watched all of XG’s Documentary Series “Xtra Xtra” where the girls were in full training for five years and then it’s been over one year of performing…so this is the reminiscing of missing their loved ones in 🇯🇵 JAPAN. They have been working so hard but they’ve grown and the popularity of XG is becoming Internationally known finally. This group is full of “ACES”. I’m so proud. 🏆. A woman who lost her fiance in a snowy mountain accident could never forget him. His body was left on the snowy mountain, so she was unable to say goodbye to him.
In the final scene of the movie, she goes to the snowy mountain to meet him. So she cried, "How are you? I'm fine."
This word is an idiom often used at the beginning of letters.
In other words, it was a love letter addressed to him that would never arrive.
This word has the meaning of missing you and wanting to see you.
JAKOPS stands for Japan Korea Produced by Simon.
Their Producer's name is Simon and he is a Japanese Korean.

You are right, but 90% would be thanks to the millions of adds purchased, in this case it is purely the fanbase and reaching a million views in 24 hours is not something that any average kpop group can do outside of the "Big 4# "

I think it's Christmas when they filmed the video and they were in Korea and they made video calls to their families and everything was a surprise, it's very emotional to see that moment 🥲😪
