This scene gave me goosebumps. The fact Cihangir forgot the words of oath and his father helping him instead of being embarrased its such a powerful and touching scene. Suleyman wasnt embarrased of having a kid who's had a disability he loved him no matter what. 🥰
Cihangir isn't the embodiment of the sins of his parents . Cihangir is the embodiment of whatever Innocence and goodness left in Hurrem and Suleiyman . He's an angel with his wings hidden underneath his back ❤.
Can we just appreciate performance of the actor who played Gihangir 👏 He did the role of embarrassed kid who thought that he is not worthy of that love and respect shown to him perfectly 👍👏 Bravo 👏👏👏
@sandralaeng she has no proof in here. In fact there is no proof in real life. Here it is showed that Mahidevran killed Mehmed. But in real life no one knows what really happened.
This was so nice scene until that parts with Mahidevran. How dare she talk about sinner, when she killed first. I love that words of Hürrem "If you looking for a sinner, look in the a mirror.. Thank God, i did not stain my hands with the dynasty blood.
"Only god knows whose sins he carries on his back", says Mahidevran who has ancient thinking and too dumb. Having a special child (disabled) is not punishment or a parent’s sin, but it is a blessing from Almighty.
Well of course she had ancient thinking. This happened in the medieval period. In Europe it was thought that hunchbacks could see into the future because they couldn't look back.
@@AB-om2te True. If she really hatred hurrem, it was enough. She no need to insult hurrem son (cihangir) physically. It sensitive matter. I only feel pity for mustafa only, but not his mother

I adore this scene. Everyone seems to be so embarrased, and there is Suleiman who's tone doesn't warrant any kind of opposition toward his son. He's proud of Cihangir and everyone who is not is against his will.
I think all the brothers love each other, maybe some rivalry with Selim and Bayehid bit Mustafa loved Mehmed and Chigarhi and vise verse. I wonder what the people say who lives there about this series...it is not historically correct but it is entertaining

Unfortunately, Cihangir was burdened by such chronic health problems that it would have been difficult for him to take the throne---he had never proved governance in a sanjak or fathered children. Even in real life, he apparently had no wish for the throne. Still, he was one of the most educated princes of the time and his father's advisor alongside his sister. All of which I think could have lead to him being a perfect power behind the throne, either for one of his own brothers or nephews.
