for plasma blast you have three choices: a) druid or dk tank with at least 3 cooldowns and hughe health pool b) warrior/pally tank using their cooldowns and getting 2 cooldowns from a pally, holy- or disc-priest c) two tanks that taunt off each other after their cooldown(s) have been used for rocket-strikes: put baby spice on the lower part of Voltron and your tank should be able to see when he is targeted by rockets

On phase 3 (flying head) we use warlock to tank the head if you dont have warrior to spell reflect or something like that..Lock should have soul link (20% damage split to pet), voidwalker(for sacrifice bubble), Curse of tongues to slow cast time, Demon armor(20% more heals).. if you have destro pvp spec you can have molten skin (6% less damage taken) and nether protection (change to reduce incoming spelldamage by 30%). Warlock tanks rock! Spam searing pain to get nice threat on head.

They get only two laser barrages in this try. and they got also nice laser barrage directions the tank could just stand still. Positioning the raid to avoid getting a laser barrage on the tank could be the key to phase 4.
400k prolly (in 10man) we did this today and he used the beam in phase 2, 3 times. 1st beam the pally tank used his CD 2nd time a disc priest used his painsusp. 3rd time the DK tank used Anit-Magic Shield and icebound fortitude.

what my guild does with the adds is we have our off tank druid shift back to bear form and taunt the bomb bots they explode on him and he thinks it tickles... makes it alot easier to focus DPS on the bots and the boss himself.
Mimiron is a truly hard boss, my guild had me grab my tanking gear and grab the bombs so they blew up on me while the other tank focused on the robots. We had alot of robots alive when Phase 4 started for some unholy reason.

hardest of the watchers imo, Freya was easy (2-shot our first time), Hodir was pretty easy if you had the FR (single tanked it), Thorim was easy once we had the right combo in the gauntlet but Mimiron took us like 4 goes before calling it for the night.
lol good melee dps always tops the charts... if you cant handle a little movement then /reroll. ranged dps are casting all the time. melee is just using a few moves (just like ranged there are harder melee classes to play with but for the most part melee have like 1 DoT and another attack they spam, and these attacks combined with auto attack make up like > 90% of their damage. they just need to move.)
no way. I'd have to disagree there- Naxx puggable in first week? Sure.. the fights don't require as much coordination... and you don't need as decent of gear to do naxx as is required from uld.

baby spice reduces hit box size, so i believe melee can attack the middle if you BS the bottom part

Parrot shows all the damage/health you/ your pets/ your minions on the left side and all the damage you do on the right.
That big red button is Mimiron's self destruct button. In other words, it activates hard mode. I'm not sure what that entail's though...

I'm sure they won't change this. There are many people who refuse to look at loot tables and such on bosses in advance.

i wouldnt consider ulduar puggable. Naxx took a while before it was puggable and since the trash mobs require some strategy I wouldn't ever pug this.

I am a dk tank and have no problems tanking him, just make a "survive" spec, which gives u 4 survive abilitys.

Make your lock use his felhunter and attack the bots and they will take no damage, the bots will blow themselves up at once
