@@thelowquat27 same, i think they updated it - I actually recently found this video, I've been doing softcore run, walk for it, blowing mud, and not just a head. gets you to 50 on the dot!
Dude you are the man. This guide helped me a ton. Not just the mechanics but having the confidence to even try raids. I am absolute garbage tier at the game, never even tried to get a fire cape till I was way over leveled since I’m so bad at prayer flicks etc, but I’ve almost completed a raid now! (Only took a couple attempts to get to final phase of warden.) thanks so much for putting the time into this!
gz, do you use runelite? prayer flicking is easy if you get visual ticks and you just have to turn on your prayer then double click every tick to turn off and back on. visual ticks helped me a lot w the timing i just prayer flicked my fire cape w 5 prayer pots last night for the first time in 5 attempts, 78 range, 2 deaths were to jad. I feel like if you practice it flicking is actually really easy and a super useful skill. gl brother
Hell yeah dude I just stepped into raids for first time after watching this I’m going to practice the monsters 1 at a time until I’m sufficient I’ve killed zebak 4 times already but I’m taking a lot of damage so I’m going to keep practicing
Got me my first clear after one failed attempt to wardens p2. Few things I'd say: Not super important, but for Akkha, the style you pray against is what the style you use is strong against. I think the guide implied it, but to make it clear: if you need to use ranged, ranged is strong against magic so pray magic. I basically spoke that whole thing out loud while doing the runs on every switch and found myself having little issue keeping track. The invocations have changed slightly, making the ones in the video only 45. I added Ba-ba's 'Gotta have faith' invocation, since I found dealing with the baboons easy enough and the slight hit to prayer on one boss if you get randomly hit by a sarcophagus attack if you have to be near the sarcophagus in the situation where the baboons killed it to be niche enough to be an easy pick. Death mechanics weren't mentioned: when you die, you get 4 healing items that restore hp and prayer. If you think a run will be tight, it might be worth suiciding to get these to push towards the next spirit. Overall, very helpful, especially getting to see a genuine mid level account with entry level gear doing the run. I wasn't intending on doing ToA so soon, but I was like 'fuck it, lets jump in' after watching this, which is... exactly how a guide should make someone feel. I'd advise other people who want to try to do the same as me: watch one section, then do that section. Don't try to learn it all at once, and instead focus on really understanding the one section you are doing. Get some better visuals and all that other polish with the same approach to content as this and you'll blow up for sure.
I’m a 119 combat level noob trying this for the first time. This guide is by far the most useful guide for me. Yes I have some slightly different gear set up but this guide is perfect! Thank you
This is by far the best beginners guide out there for ToA, it doesn't overcomplicate things and keeps it simple. Easy to follow with the added timestamps as well in the progress bar. The added fact you're using SUPER low grade gear and also having poor stats lets us know it isn't just the 99's carrying. thank you so much for the guide and for getting me my first raid KC!
it wasnt easy to understand anything of this. like nr 1) what does all the markers mean? the ones u can use to make the raids easier or harder? nr.2) why did he go in there 1st time just with a pickaxe and then run out?
@@mrdr1ggy all the markers are meant to make things easier but thats all just up to personal preference, as for the pickaxe it is required to use in that room so going in, storing a pickaxe in there and restarting will allow you to always have an extra inventory slot instead of bringing a pickaxe every single raid attempt

Monkey room was the worst btw
Was able to get my first KC with this guide on my GIM, thanks!!
thx for the guide, ive been avoiding raids since i thought you needed BiS gear but looks like i can do it!
thanks for the guide. It got me through my first completion today
This is exactly what I was looking for. It's difficult to get late game gear on my UIM, so a "budget" build like this is perfect for me. Thank you for putting this together
Finally a guide where the person isn’t maxed stats maxed gear
Very helpful, after watching I feel confident that I could complete this despite never doing a raid before
Got through my first solo TOA with this! Thanks friend!
Update: 3rd 150 I got a tumakens shadow
@@barrisbittle8155 Nice one 😎
You are a legend mate!!! Helped me so much to learn it solo on UIM
Thank you, Kriibus! just got my first completion on my first attempt. It was a great guide!
Thanks for a great and comprehensible guide, I haven't used it yet. But it has given me the info I need to start.
A change that has happened since this video, the volatile baboon (exploding one) can also damage other baboons. you can trigger them by running near them and running away. it speeds room up so much when you can blow up the melee ones
thank you so much for taking ur time to make such an awesome guide !! completed my first ToA after 3 attempts
Amazing guide, soooooo so good. Wish I could like it twice! Thanks so much for your hard work
Holy crap I couldn’t even do sins of the father boss no way I could do that lightning at the end and actually survive all the other specs unfortunately I don’t think raids are for me haha but great video
Thanks! Your video gave me the confidence to give this a go. Still learning it but actually having fun with it :) Subbed
As an update to my previous comment, I got my first kc of entry mode! Thanks again!
Man Jagex hates irons. I went to look up the boots of brimstone, only require 44 slayer to wear. Great! I just need to get a dark claw... which drops only from drakes.... which require 84 slayer........... This kind of thing is so annoyingly common in osrs
As for the guide/video, great stuff! I have about 20 kc on my main and learned a surprising amount from this, so thanks for the great vid!
Love you
I've been putting off toa bc my combat stats are barely mid game, but will definitely give it a go now! Thanks!
Give it a try, it's a lot of fun!
Thank you very much for this guide, feel much more confident to try this now.
Very solidly put together video man. Professional af
fantastic guide, explained it all bter than any other guide I watched, and also gave some really useful tips in raid, legend
hey, thanks! just completed duo TOA with my buddy thanks to this guide
Lvl 120 cb 1800 total lvl skiller here, getting my fire cape tomorrow 😂 and then doing TOA solo to learn and then with a friend. Your guide is awesome.
This guide got me my first KC, thanks!
Amazing guide, thanks for making this!
You're going to make me play The Witcher 3 again with that background music.
Was able to solo my first 150 invo raid because of this guide, thanks for making it
completed a 200 today and got my thread with inferior gear to this video. no brews (btw), and bwans/monkfish. was my 5th kc, and all my others have been 150. this raid is definitely doable with bad gear if you're mechanically skilled.
Happy one year anniversary to this guide lol! :) Going to try this tonight. :)
Great guide, im higher lvl but this is perfect for learning! Hella appreciated my man
Definitely gives me a lot of confidence to breathe and gear up for some 50 runs!
I like how Akkha is wearing his best beach party gear :D
