Great and simple yet super informative video! The system you use is very good. Did you dedicate the push pin colors to certain story elements as well?

I thought about it but in the end I decided not to. Thanks for checking out my video.

I always wished that my characters pave their own way out by them selves, but as you said not at the beginning but some where at the middle stage this can happen. Thanks a lot..

Why is it 10 cards per row that I'm still trying to understand

Great question. This is based on the Board from the book, "Save the Cat." The reason for the limitation is to prevent you from having too much fat in your script. If you have more than 10 cards per row then you've probably got too many actions in your film and you'll need to cut the fat. This helps to keep your script within a 120 page or less limit. If you find that you have more than forty total cards there could be some other issues too. It could be that you've accidentally put 1 action across multiple cards. If you figure this out then you can combine multiple cards into one to help keep your story within those limits. But be careful because the opposite is true too. You may find in writing your script that 1 card should have been split into multiple cards. Don't worry, though. That's why we will always write multiple drafts of a story. Sometimes you will just not recognize the flaws until you've put them on the page and can see the whole picture.
