Thank you. Just what I needed after discovering Charley. He does a good cover of Tom T Hall’s “that’s how I got to Memphis” and also “I’m just a clown” is a great song.
Man if you could do "Silver Dagger" by Charley I'd be so grateful... Thanks for your lessons, my favorite I've found for soooo many songs I love... Thanks for what ya do!
Tim, can you teach that second part of the piano riff ? It’s on the b string. Also the strum pattern seems to be a little different. (I know it works, but the versions I’ve seen have a little more upstrum). I’m new and I learn a lot from you, not trying to be knit-picky.
@@GMoody bass, down updownup. You should be able to intuitively figure strum patterns out. Trying to go by downs and ups will leave you sounding mechanical. Let. Your own rythm guide you on stuff.
More Charley Crockett tutorials please!! Thank you for this

Hey can anyone help me with the strum pattern here? It just goes very fast and I had a hard time keeping track of it lol. Thanks!
Hey man, from what I could gather the strum pattern at the most basic would be up down up up down or something similar.
@@diegoreyes7392 I eventually figured out something similar that sounds pretty good! Down strike the root string, then DUD.
