My grandmother was an organist and choir director for many years. I remember her being especially happy when she had a few guys who would attend choir practice faithfully and on Sunday morning. Always had several more women than men.
Oh again I love each one of you such faithful men. Those were special. My sister was killed in a freak accident my life has changed so much. I love her so but I know. I know she is heaven. That’s what each one of us can be.
Anthony Burger was one of the best pianists I have ever heard and Ivan Parker is one of my favorite all time Gospel singers. Gene McDonald seems to always make things much better.
I make me want to cry that he was taken so young. He the the best at everything he did. And his singing was a shock but didn't know he could sing like he did. He didn't let his accident stand in his way but his could play that piano. And he was funny he was the man that God wanted him to be. Rest in peace and anyone that plays that piano think of another loved what he was doing no metal or award he enjoyed serving the Lord. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Anthony would routinely sing when he was with the Kingsmen as an extra baritone when needed. He usually had a mic in front of him when he was with them. He and the band would be featured on one song by themselves most nights. If he were still with us today and with a group, he would likely be doing both due to the constriction of the industry.

You look at this video, and you see so many people who are no longer with us. I'm glad Bill and Gloria Gaither had the insight to hold these concerts and put them to video. Love this number. Very well done. Those guys could have went on tour together. Gene McDonald at the end is icing on the cake.

Anthony could absolutely do anything and he had music in every fiber of his being. He is extremely missed so much by all who knew and loved him. His talent, as great as it was, not the most wonderful thing about him. It was his soul and his spirit.

I sat down as a teen in Dayton, TN with Anthony. He played Glory Road eight different ways while I sat next to him. He looked at me as I only played with him with my right and he he asked me why. I said while smiling. I don't won't to get the way of perfection.
