AVON 💄 Retro Prom Makeup ASMR ✨ Personal Attention ✨ 1960s (Soft Spoken)

- As promised at Joan's Avon party a few weeks back, I stopped by to apply Mary Jane's makeup before she goes to prom. Mary Jane's sleeveless prom gown is a gorgeous shade of periwinkle in a lined daisy eyelet. So we'll let the gown be our guide. After a careful and very light application of foundation, we turn toward the eyes. I'm giving her a dramatic look with two shades of matching periwinkle eye shadow cream and a touch of silver. Eyeliner and a very light ballet pink lipstick finishes off the bright summery look.
In this video, you'll enjoy some up-close personal attention. You'll hear lots of nostalgic sounds, from the heavy plastic compartments of my Beauty Showcase, the light tapping of the applicators, and the delicate sounds of cardboard and plastic boxes, to the clicks and clacks of tiny little sample bottles, plastic lids, and glass jars. Gentle, comforting, soft-spoken voice throughout.

Such kindness and camaraderie! 🥰 I have lots to share with you in future videos, but first up from the package are the incredibly tingly paper applicators. You are literally like the only ASMR content provider that portrays makeshift conversations in your videos in the most realistic way. One of my pet peeves is that most ASMR providers in their role-play will ask questions and then repeat the answer back to the viewer Instead of just carrying on the conversation in such a way that we would all catch on. You, however, not only converse in a way that the viewer catches on easily , but you pause for the perfect amount of time, which makes for a more realistic and authentic conversation. These are the kind of details that sets you apart from many, if not most providers thank you for all your effort and your videos, our lovely, as always.❤

This is the first ASMR video that’s ever made me a little bit teary! I didn’t get to go to my prom (2020) but I had a lovely retro look planned for it and I moped for a while over it never coming to fruition, and I still get a little sad when I think about missing out on such a big milestone. Silly as it may sound, this video lifted a bit of that feeling.

I graduated college in 2020 and was disappointed that they kept pushing the ceremony back instead of cancelling it. They didn't even tell us that they canceled it until the next semester was getting ready to start

I grew up in an old house, filled with vintage treasures. I remember as a kid I would pore over sears catalogs, wishing I could pull the dresses and shiny shoes off the paper. So while I'm in my late 20s, your videos feel so comfortable and remind me of being a kid. Like I'm getting to experience being in those catalogs (that I of course still collect 💗) It's so special for me to be able to get a little taste of what life was like, so thank you 💛

I went to go pick up Pamela Jean for prom in my Dad’s brand new ‘67 Camaro, but her momma said she was grounded! Something to do with her being cantankerous while being measured for a new dress 🤷🏻♂️ 😂 Such a great video, it was worth the wait! ❤

I remember one prom I had with my friends back in High School and it was themed around the 1950s. When I went to prom that night, I actually wore some of the stuff that my mom kept from that era.

When i ws an Avon Rep a couple of decades ago i had that box of lipstick samples I can still smell the aroma scent in my memories i loved the perfume samples too
Yup. It’s a very waxy smell but unmistakable. My mom used to give me the samples, and we’d keep them in the refrigerator so they wouldn’t melt.

My grandmother was big into Avon back in the day. She had many, many of the themed perfume amd cologne bottles that we were passed down to me since I adore things like that. Some of them even have a little of the liquid in them and some of the smell. I think my favorites are the turtle and the eagle but there are so many other really cool ones it's hard to choose. I loved this video and all of your videos. Thank you for your time and effort. It is much appreciated.

We didn’t have prom here in the UK in the 1970s but we knew all about them from watching wholesome American TV shows. I loved listening to you advising on the etiquette of dance acceptance and when to move on to another partner. Very sweet. Love from across the pond. 😘😘

Love this. My prom was in 1995. I had an old Hollywood vintage dress. I was already to go. So excited. My date never showed. So no prom for me.
Oh I’m sorry that happened. I went to prom but it wasn’t as lovely as I had hoped. My boyfriend broke up with me about a month before and got back together with his ex. She ended up being crowned prom queen. Broken heart. But also sooo long ago.
