Thanks for the tips! I've been searching around how to improve my Behance portfolio and I am really motivated to put in time and effort to present my projects comprehensively based on the tips you gave
Hey Maddy! Awesome video, I am an avid viewer of yours :) I have a question, you mentioned here that animations are really good to include and I watched your video on how to include animations using Photoshop and Vimeo. I tried to use Photoshop and do the import "video frames to layers" option however, this option would not show up for me. I'm not sure if its because this is no longer offered on Photoshop but I researched and could not figure it out. You have been such a great help and role model in my journey to become a UX/UI designer and I would really appreciate your help on this! Thank you!
Hmm good question! I wonder if the video you’re using is too long? Try a shorter video (like a couple seconds) and see if it works then. That will at least narrow down what the issue might be. :)
Hi Maddy, Thx for this video :) I have a question for you. Is there a particular time to submit a project on behance in order to gain visibility among curators? We all aim at different places with different times and I was wondering if despite the high quality of a project, let's say the time or the moment can affect our chances of being featured. Thank you in advance for your opinion :) Have a nice day
Hello Maddy, your videos have helped me a lot. I'm studying everything related to ux/ui design recently, and I would like to know how I could structure my portfolio if I still don't have work experience. What would you recommend?
I didn't knew that you don't have to modify some details. It happened me many times to modify hashtags or keywords. So you really think it's over when we change even one time?
No you can make changes! I was just saying the Behance team is only alerted once, as in they won’t also look at your updated project. So make sure it’s good the first time :)
Hi Maddy, thanks for the tips! I was wondering, I have some old projects posted on my Behance, they don't have a lot of views and some of them could use an update. Since you're saying that it's not a good idea to edit them, because they won't be seen by the curators, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to delete them and then repost them? What do you think? Thanks!
@@maddybeardUX Yesss, after finishing those subscriptions, putting pictures, contents...but it still saying private and they told me people cant view it if its private. Therefore i have to verify the email but after clicking verify, a link must appear in my account but when loggin in my account no email from behance. So i dont know if its me who's doing it the wrong way or just some bullshit Adobe has to create no need complications
Hello Maddy ! Thank you for this video it's very helpful !! I have a question: for example I published a couple of projects but when I did it, they weren't perfect. Now that I changed them, they won't get notice by the Behance team (as you said it). Should I deleted them and re-published them ?
Yes, you can totally do that! Exactly -- the project will only show up in front of the Behance team the FIRST time it's published, so they won't be re-notified when improvements are made. :)
@@maddybeardUX So let's say I published my project, but then I changed the cover image of it. Will they still see it, or it disappears instantly when I update the stuff? Oh, hello, by the way. :)
I am new to getting featured in Behance. I am still unclear as to where/what to click on in behance to get notice, do I have to turn on any special features in the settings to get notice?
Good question! All you have to do is tag your creative field(s) and the adobe tools you used for your project. Do you see where to do that in the settings? :)

Hello, Maddy Beard, I am from India How to identify the correct messages on Behance? Because recently lots of people are messaging me for "I have work for you"? How to identify? Can you please tell him how to handle it? Thank you. And I saw a profile that messaged me but no one in any detail has a profile.
If the person messaging you doesn’t provide a link to the company website… you can pretty much ignore it. You want to be able to do some research on the company!
Thanks a lot for this video. I got featured on the Adobe Illustrator Draw section once and I was so happy. I got much exposure for my work
Thank you so much for the tips, very informative. I was the middle of publishing a project but turns out it needed these tips.

This is very helpful. I'd love to see a review of how Behance subscription service is good or bad - or how it compares to patreon or ko-fi. Thanks!
very helpful, thank you and congrats about your feature ❣
Great Video!

Maddy your advices sounds very helpful. This is what I was looking for and I will definitely give them a try. Thank you 👍🏻
This is very helpful thank you!
There's a specific day to post on Behance?
Hi Maddy 🤗 So if I will upload one long tile (like 10000px long) with my project Behance team won't be able to even see this?
Correct!! Make sure to split it up into multiple images :)
Thank you so much this is helpfuul
Maddy how much time it takes to get featured on behance can you tell me
What if instead of having 10 images you have just one really large, would that work for getting featured?
Hello Mandy ! Thank you for making this video !! 😊 I found it very helpful !!
Thanks for watching!! So glad you liked it :)
Thanks for the info.
Thank you so much!!
Maddy, right i understand that if i published I don't correct my project in promotion time?
You can correct mistakes!! But just make sure the project is mostly finished when you publish for the first time :)

Hey! Not that I’m aware of. I don’t think time submitted affects anything :)

Thank you I’m so glad! Do you have personal or unpaid projects to show? :)
I have not received any offer or any project but I am starting to design something on my own to practice
Super useful, thank you 🙏
Can i be noticed if i present a project in non-english? Is it better to present in both languages?
Hey Maddie, does going back in To edit a project effect the opportunity to be featured?
No not that I know of! :)

@@yassinebayi3662 I believe unpublish will put it back into your drafts and delete will delete it for good
What about using tags on the individual artboards, does that make a difference ??
That specificity doesn't make a difference when it comes to getting featured, as far as I know! :)
