I'm glad I found this video because my shipping date is August 10 & I'm doing security forces.
do you hate it yet
I miss all of that
Someone needs to teach them how to set up their gear correctly and efficiently.
Minot Air Force Base., better known as the land of those chosen to be frozen in the Air Force
Damn seeing the SMA reminded me that I failed my depth perception and can't be one :(
Didnt know checking IDs got that intense
yeah, it does,
You stay up at night thinking about little moments from getting bullied growing up don’t you
What’s the work schedule? For sf
These troops are mostly weekend-ers (quarterly drills). 219th SFS is part of the NDANG. Full time SF work is typically shifts from 8 up to 12 hours depending on the schedule chosen by squadron leadership.
depends on the base
I’m hoping to get into security forces. I’m talking with my recruiter and she’s trying to sell me mechanical jobs. Not buying it. Taking the practice asvab, she said the soonest I’d be able to leave (going to basic wise) is October. Wish me luck
Yeah but it also depends on your physical and asvab scores hopefully you’ll get it
Go for it! I spent 20 years in security forces 1973-93. Adventure!
Update?
@@ivendre I ended up signing up under CE, (pavement and construction) which was the worst job in relation to my personal interests. Security forces at the base i enlisted at was overmanned and there was no way I’d get it at that time. I ended up going to basic in April instead of October, there was a lot of drag time that caused me to go to college part time with all of the uncertainty that my recruiter put me through. I eventually ended up cross training into personnel for the diversity opportunity. I’d still be able to work with security forces and a few other units so that’s fun.
@@isiahz niceeee man did you still get to get gun training?
Will I get to ride in helicopters like that ?
