They are called Wyvern Heirs... they have a skull on their head. They are only around nests and cannot be tamed. They are the only aggressive wyvern in crystal isles and are the only ones that can breed in the wild.
I recommend of you see a shit ton of wyverns In one area then use a spyglass from a distance to check of they're Heirs or regular ones. Note: sometimes their skull won't render so just look at their name with the spyglass to see if it has Heir in it. If it does then it's agressive.
During this video I was under the impression they are eggs only. People have reported you can tame then in other areas on the mal too. But I've not personally seen them. Wyvern nest spawns are only on the outside and 3 to 4 only. WC borked the spawns and has yet to rectify it.

I had no issues transferring crystal wyverns from one map to another, but I play single player and use a tek transmitter, they were in cryo too.

Are spawns bugged for crystal wyverns and tropeos because I spent 3 hours looking for them and I found not a single one.
Are you playing single player? If so spawns are incredibly low from what I've seen
